Big 10 Seeds are out

I get by with a little help from our friends........thanks to Luther Ace from the Iowa board. This is a clickable, interactive bracket.

I use wrestle matness it's very user friendly and free, they currently have the piaa AAA AND AA. It is definitely worth a look!

I must confess this is why I stop participating in our kywsp.

I'd say you are right. Teemer isn't setting the world on fire this year and Kasak is just so solid. He did have a 7pter in the first period against Talyor that set the match. If he doesn't hit that move, I think he comes up with points somewhere else and the result doesn't change.
Teemer is on the scripted Iowa progression. Senior . . . early-season leg injury . . . time off . . . compete a little . . . look pretty good . . . practice . . . then come out in a shoulder brace to close out the regular season. Who knows how beat-up he’ll be come Saturday, following 2 more weeks of Hawkeye practice.

Teemer’s last match sure had the looks of a guy that is going to have to get by on guts and savvy. That’s a tall task in tough tournaments. A sharp Askey just might be Miller’s opponent in the semis.

Me and my friends do lots of duals and tournaments on there. It is a great site. They don't do the consy's though, as compared to the interactive bracket. (at least not in the one's I've done)

^^^^consi's^^^^ yes the only downfall! Other than that a 3 (80) year old can figure the site out.😉

I kid you not, easy! You can invite people into your tournament by sending the link via text and have a friendly competition.

PSU hasn't won this tournament as often as they win Nationals under Cael precisely because of this. If you get a bye you should get max team points for every one.
Or 1 and 2 should have the option for the bye, and so on until 2 wrestlers accept the bye.

Someone else (I want to say it was El Jefe) pointed out a week or so ago that there's always that possibility of getting injured in a first round match and that perhaps giving up the possibility of bonus is worth it to get all of our wrestlers into the second round in a healthy state. I'm not sure that I don't agree with that thinking, particularly at Big Tens where we really don't care TOO MUCH whether we win or not since the big prize is clearly an NCAA title. Ideally you add a couple of wrestling programs so you can fill the bracket and you won't be dealing with first round byes.

BS. We lost to tOSU in 2017 & 2018 before the current bracket system was in place. In 2017 Suriano got hurt and scored ZERO points and in 2018 Nolf was hurt and defaulted after winning his quarter final match, Byes had NOTHING to do with why we did not win BIGs those years.

I think it’s mostly due to Cael and Co. wanting to and being better at peaking moreso for the little get-together that starts 11 days later. There have been many a year where PSU seemingly underperformed a bit at B10’s, and absolutely nailed it at NCAA’s.

I would be in favor of the two byes getting one additional point, in essence assume a major decision, as compromise.

You were only 50% right because Askey will be Cannon's semifinal opponent, not Miller's. :)
I was serious when I said “I didn’t see it” — an issue came up an hour before and I missed the matches. Didn’t realize Miller fell, too.

That means @slushhead still has 0 to 0.5 good predictions left. Whatcha got, Slushie?
Lilledahl over Ramos, I’m calling it now!
