Another possible PSU recruit just won the PJW JH title at 152. I heard he'll be starting his list at 50 schools and cutting it down one schools month until someone offers him 6 mil NIL. I think PSU has a chance.

I'm pretty sure PJW just fills the brackets based on where you place in your Area Tournament, no real seeding involved.

It used to be that you were not necessarily seeded but since the top two out of each Area went to states if you finished first you always wrestled a kid who finished second in their area tournament in the first round. When I went in 7th grade I was the only area runner-up to win their first match. I won my second one, too against another area champ. Then I got hammered by the guy who won it all in the semis.

Too bad I missed weight for the area tournament when I was in 8th grade. I had a bad case of HEW but I would have likely won the area tournament pretty soundly.
