I am going to kick this off with 174 because I'm a huge Mark Hall fan. Looking at the rankings this week
it should be Hall and Brunson in the semis with BoJo and Meyer in the other one. Hall and BoJo in the finals. Watching BoJo wrestle Realbuto he looked slow and defensive coming off his injury. If Hall stays aggressive for seven minutes I see him winning scrambles and winning by decision. Woukd love to hear what people think about this weight and the rest of the brackets.

VJoseph has a very hard tournament because all the best wrestlers at this weight are Big Ten. He will probably have to beat issac Jordan or Logan Massa to meet Martinez in the final. He's wrestling extremely well so he could/should make the finals. Beating Imar...

If Cenzo meets Imar he will beat him this time....Wait till Imar starts grabbing ankles this time. It will be awesome....Cenzo is ready and can't wait....

Nolf and Nickal are a lock. Zain should be a train through this tournament with Sorensen as an exclamation point. He's had close matches this year but I see him getting his leg attacks back in March.

Cutch has to get best Moore or maybe studebacker to meet Pfarr in the finals. A tough ask but his third period against Wiegel was a statement. He seems motivated to do right by himself and his team. Is now someone I am very much pulling for.

Joseph will be seeded 4th at Big 10 so he will be facing IMar in the semis. If he loses to IMar he has to beat the loser of Jordan/Massa for 3rd at Big Ten to avoid the 4 seed again at NCAAs

Aw what the hell

125 Gilman(Nick wrestles enough to qualify and lives to fight another day in St Louis)
133 NaTo
141 Jimmy
149 Zain
157 Jason
165 Jerkoff
174 Hall
184 Nickal
197 Studebaker
Hwt Snyder

He will. I want Massa, instead of Jordan, so the committee has no recourse.

I would be very surprised to see Nick wrestle the entire tourney.

Well given that he was reportedly on crutches and in a blow-up air-cast earlier this week on campus to isolate it, it sure doesn't sound like a minor sprain that heals quickly. Has anyone heard if Nick is still on crutches and ankle completely isolated?

125: Gilman - my view is Nick won't go beyond the minimum
133: NaTo - hard to pick against him
141: Ashnault - Jimmy finishes 2nd
149: Zain - he gave BS hope, not this time!
157: Nolf - I expect Kemerer to come at him, only to get turned
165: Imar - his D is too much once again
174: Hall - he shines in big events!
184: Bo - let's hope his aggressive style racks up pins!
197: Pfarr - see 133
285: Snyder - my heart wants to see Nevills in the finals, but my head says Medberry 2nd

Joseph is almost certainly going to have to face IMAR in the semis.

I haven't looked too much into who might be seeded where, so i guessed.*

125- Gilman over Lambert (At best, Suriano shows up and MFF out of the tournament)
133 - Tomesello over Clark
141 - Ahsnault over Jimmy
149 - Zain over Sorensen
157 - Nolf over Kemerer
165 - Cenzo over Massa (yes... Cenzo knocks off Imar in the semi's)
174 - Hall over B.Jordan
184 - Bo over Brooks
197 - Pfarr over Studebaker
285 - Snyder over Nevills

* I reserve the right to edit after the seedings come out

It's about the third place match: Win it, and Cenzo avoids Imar until the finals in St Louis.
Beat Imar now in the semis and he will get seeded higher than 4th at NCAA and avoid him until the finals in St Louis.

Does that work if Cenzo beats Martinez in the B10 semis, then loses to Massa? Hard to predict what the seeding committee will do, but they could well make Massa the 1 if he's a one loss B10 champ who beat Cenzo, beat Jordan 2x, beat Minotti, majored Valencia ...

Hard to know. This is a good point. They could do that and push IMar and Cenzo in the the 2-3 or 3-2.

What do people think of the team championship at BIGs, or is that even important to you? If Suriano can't go, I think we're still the favorite, but it could be close with tOSU. If the 174 final comes down to Hall and BoJo, that will be a big factor in the team race.

Suriano is going. He will wrestle two matches then mff out, making sure to qualify.

LMAO. He lost the bet before he even made it.
it would possibly be understandable if there wasn't an entire active string about 3 down from here that goes through exhaustive detail about the Schlatter rule and what might have to happen based on allocations, etc.

If the post was sarcastic, which I presume it was, then it should have included the emoticon, or a disclaimer. Even in sarcasm, the post lacked clarity.

if you toss out the Stanford match--Cenzo is 5 points from being undefeated--I do believe he will be ready for big10 I can see him getting into the finals---I hope it is Jordon that he meets in the semi.. I do believe that Cenzo has a freestyle win over Massa--but folk style in different..
