Blake Corum announced he is coming back to UM for another year*

Maybe it's just me but it seems like OSU & UM are able to keep more 2nd-3rd round players than PSU.
He got hurt and can improve his status. Just be glad he wasn't in there to help scUM beat TCU. Would be miserable tonight having to watch scUM in the championship game and O$U for that matter.

I wonder if he's worried that he's still not healthy enough to impress scouts.

Of course I wonder the same thing about Parker Washington.

Good point. Pretty similar cases except Corum was probably projected to go higher. Parker's decision baffled me. I think he had the opportunity to return and move up at least 2 rounds.

I don't even know who you are
I think it's dumb for any RB to return. Additional carries isn't a good thing for their NFL career. Must be some nice NIL money.
Or maybe he wants another shot at the playoffs and a possible championship considering he was injured this year. It’s not always money with everyone.

True. Everyone has their own reasons. Just like those that declare or portal. JMO RBs should go asap.

Maybe after Booger Harbaugh heads to the NFL Corum will sign up for the portal. We can grab him and he will be our third string back.

Dumb move IMHO. He is risking injury again and should rehab knee. There is enough tape from stellar 2022 season. Have a solid pro day in 2024. UM loses alot on OL and D. I don't see lightning in a bottle 3rd time

Depending on the stability of the coaching staff, many people are expecting Michigan to be better, not worse if they can fix their D-line quickly. They don't lose as much as people think, and the talent they have in the wings is strong. They also have the schedule to get everything in order before playing anyone of note while staying healthy. The big question is Harbaugh.

I honestly think it’s just because you’re a PSU fan and you follow your team a little more closely. I’m a UM fan and I think you guys seem to keep more 2nd-3rd round players than we do. 🤷‍♂️

They're losing most of their OL plus TE Schoonmaker and TE All. Corum is probably making a mistake betting on a bunch of new starters and adding more mileage as a RB before the NFL. Just my opinion.

Losing players doesn't mean there will be a step back. If that were true, no team would ever get better. Look at Penn State. Sean Clifford was a major upgrade from Trace the instant he set foot on the field. Look back to 2012, people were freaking out over Devon Still leaving. Jordan Hill slides from the 1 to the 3 and gave us the best season Penn State had at the position since Jimmy Kennedy while DaQuan Jones upgraded the 1 with Hill sliding over only to be replaced by a superior player in Austin Johnson the following season. The biggest problem with losing multiple players is the time it takes for units to mesh, and Michigan has it.
