Well, Bo certainly saw on Friday that Iowa needs him, terribly. If there ever was a billboard for Iowa style vs PSU style, we all saw, what each program teaches.
My money was and remains on Oky State until I hear it with my own two ears.
I find it both odd and amusing that any top flight wrestling coach would see his prodigy walk into the Iowa program, sorry but they are clearly a tier below PSU, and suspect it's just a matter of time visibly below OSU. Their RTC likewise.
I know we all have a very strong opinion that what is best for Bo's skills development is PSU by a country mile. I find it equally odd that 'becoming the face of the program', ends up trumping development, but to each his own, we have seen this before.
I have wanted Bo at PSU since he was in 8th grade, but 100% would not trade either PJ Duke or Blaze for Bo. I have tremendous respect for how both handled their recruitment process, or class and integrity. Our guys priorities are straight, and that is the most important element to seeking excellence.
Tomorrow should be interesting. Bo did just say this past week that he was going to wait until summer, very strange. Only two big things have happened since then, our decapitation of Iowa and rumors of $1 Mil+/yr. I would be shocked if Bo would bend to an ultimatum tied to a bag.
My ranking of best places for Beau to go if he seeks first to become his ultimate best folk and free wrestler is PSU > OSU > tOSI > Iowa and there is a measurable gap between each tier. If rumors are true, he leans the opposite. Curious.
I didn't mention money. I am sure he will do well financially anywhere, and didn't see him as the type who chases the highest bidder. That doesn't sound like his value system, or does it?
