And I think that's an issue. I wish there was a way we could ensure the major programs (PSU, tOSU, MI, IA, etc.) faced each other in duals every year. That's clearly what the fans want to see. I know it's not possible, but it sure would be nice. Or perhaps the B10 needs to form an alliance with one of the holiday tournaments and pull all of them into that, although I do enjoy watching the B10 grapple with the other conferences' powerhouses during those tourneys. In the end I'd like to see more intense duals and matches within duals, as was the case in the tOSU vs. PSU meet. Blowouts are boring even if it's your team who's kicking a$$.

That's it exactly. Sammy, who I used to love - and hate - to watch went into most every match like he was the strongest (equates to baddest) man on the mat, and most of the time it played out very well. But against the funky wrestlers like Bo or Nolf, that kind of stuff just doesn't always work so well since they are more or less begging for you to engage. Guys like that remind me of Royce Gracie back when MMA first hit the scene. Royce would lure the larger, stronger fighters into his "space" and then destroy them with via Jiu-Jitsu. Watch UFC 1 if you ever get bored...That's what Sammy looks like against Bo. That said, loved Sammy and loved watching him wrestle almost everyone, but he could frustrate the hell out of his fan base at times. LOL!

Off subject a bit, but my Hawkeye loving dad is the biggest Sammy Brooks fan. I had Sammy sign a poster for my dad and he is a very gracious young man with such a great smile.

He also had a good sense of humor about his mullet.

Must admit I enjoyed the beatdowns as well. Nothing against Martin, seems like a decent guy, but I guess beating Bo was enough to make me a Brooks fan.
