If Bo commits to the DT S&C program, by 2024 Bo might persuade Snyder to retire the shoes.
You mean the Snyder that is a two time world champion and Olympic champion along with a couple Yargin golds and having a win over who many consider the #1 p4p .

Optimism for sure, but the world freestyle stage is a different animal. Focusing on freestyle full-time is huge, time will tell just how good both of these guys can be. DT, Zain, Jason, Bo, and all the Resident NLWC Athletes shall make this RTC best in the country, imo.

I know some fans, many in fact, don't follow freestyle. I suspect that is, and will continue changing.

Probably not viewed as #1 p4p right now by very many, however one view is a snap shot of right now in April 2019 and what I offered was a possibility that by 2024 if Bo transforms his body in a manner similar to DT Snyder might find it easier to retire the shoes.
With that said, yes you and I seem to be in agreement to which Snyder we are talking about.

I believe he said Snyder has a win over the #1 P4P (Sadulaev).

Look, I live DT as much as anyone.

But Sadulaev has lost once in the last 5 years. He has 3 World Championships and an Olympic Gold. And he's not even 23 years old yet.

In my opinion, he's got a pretty firm grip on top P4P.
Agreed--if DT has 3-4 more years like last year, he'll probably be right there in the conversation, but Sadulaev has steamrolled pretty much every human for as long as he's been on the scene (one notable exception).

Mssr. Nevills joins the fray:

I know it's all speculation but does it seem likely Bo tries 97KG for 2020? Man I would love nothing more than to see Snyder and Bo wrestle. Pardon my ignorance but I guess that makes sense that he bumped up to 197 for this year (would likely have stayed 184 if he planned for 86KG)

He can get on the Cassar diet for that!

Going 197 isn't enough to indicate that. Several of the 86 kg guys were 197s (not the least of whom is Cox). Most of the 97 kg guys weighed in the 230-240 range in college.

He would need to do like Taylor and add significant muscle if he wants to go up. Could happen, but happen by 2020? Seems less likely than dropping 8 lb.

Would like to see Bo around and training eventually with Ben Askren for several reasons.

First, Ben is a big fan of Bo.

Second, I think Bo can be the same type of MMA menace who once he grabs ahold of an opponent, it’s over.

Some Sadulaev highlights from this week’s euros:

Would love to see what a bulk-jobbed Bo could do with this guy.

Not much today, I would guess. Sadulaev is in his own class right now.
I didn’t mean to imply otherwise, but I think it would be entertaining. And given time and experience along with the bulk, who knows?

Is this the same guy beaten by Nathan Burak and controlled by Morgan McIntosh?
Obviously I think some here are selling Synder short and I don't share the same confidence that Bo can dismantle Synder. I will root and be hopeful but Synder is only a couple of years older so not riding off in the sunset anytime soon and he just didn't get lucky in racking up those Gold medals.
Yes Morgan has bragging rights to something that very few have. Just like Nate Jackson and Myles have something that very few have

According to my 30 second google research, Snyder is about 2 months older than Bo.

And both are older than Sadulaev.

Believing 5 years from now, with a body transformation similar to DT's, that Bo may be able to deal with Snyder is not selling Snyder short.
It is possible is appreciate Snyder's past accomplishments and current skill set (still not, at least right now, p4p world's best) and understand there are very capable challenges coming his way as we move forward.
