Bo won the Hodge

I know wrestling results win the Hodge. A wrestler's record, pins, and dominance against quality competition lead the criteria. Lose once, and you're out of the running. Heck, winning a third individual national championship, and finishing 6th nationally in falls, and earning bonus in 84% of your matches, and you finish...2nd.

The recognition is deserved, well-deserved, but I want to add context, and include Jason in my comments as I'm unable to separate the two, Bo and Jason. This is bigger than the Hodge, and certainly way bigger than objectifying these two young men. I will try to humanize them.

These two young men are special, not just as wrestling talents, but as human beings. We could talk about their faith, important to both, and driving forces in their lives. We could talk about their maturity, way beyond their years. We could talk about WHO they are -- their character, principles, etc. -- everything about their nature that makes them who they are. From my vantage point, closer than many, I can say they are the total package.

That all sounds a bit like placing them on a pedestal. I'm not. There's equally impressive young men and women all around us, not just in sports, but in every corner of life imaginable. Bo and Jason are as down to earth as can be...no pedestal is warranted.

Life is so much more than wrestling. Cael alludes to the development of the whole person when these wrestlers are entrusted to his and his staffs part-time care for 4-6 years. Bo and Jason, and in fact all the wrestlers are shining examples of what happens when these values are combined with those from family and friends.

Semi-OT but timely:

So, does Noodle Arms go 92kg (202lbs) for US Open & WTT ?? And aim for J Cox ?

Or drop to 86kg (189lbs) and aim for his teammate ??

There are two men who know likely wins that match, Bo and DT. The weight will be according to that I assume
