Sounds like almost everyone is playing the Peach Bowl.
I could have sworn someone on this board told us that bowls don't matter. LOL.

Hope not. YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME! HELLO?!Excellent! I bet Franklin limits their playing time a bit to minimize injury concerns.
Chop at least has legit injury concernsChop... Not a leader
He had a pretty serious concussion earlier this year. I don't fault him for sitting this one out.Chop... Not a leader
Injury spinjury, if he were a team player he’d ignore that concussion nonsense and play without a helmet.Chop at least has legit injury concerns
I mean, he DID play in the Michigan State game.Injury spinjury, if he were a team player he’d ignore that concussion nonsense and play without a helmet.
Agreed and he's projected as a first round pick. The others can improve their draft status with a great game. No real upside for Chop. We also need to remember that he left MD for us so wasn't a PA kid that dreamt of playing for PSU. I know he says great things about PSU but PSU was a means to a destination.Chop at least has legit injury concerns
Glad he came to PSU. Heck of a player- he can really get off the ball, good luck to him in NFL.Chop... Not a leader
They don't. Doesn't mean the guys don't want SWAG or a free tripSounds like almost everyone is playing the Peach Bowl.

Tell Adisa Isaac a NY6 bowl game doesn’t matter. Tell Barkley the Fiesta Bowl didn’t mean anything in 2017. You obviously never played football or organized sports of any kind so you don’t get it and never will. Barkley was potentially the #1 pick in the draft, but his love for the game, PSU, and his teammates and coaches was why he played. Tell Barkley what a moron he was for playing a meaningless exhibition game. Adisa had a monster season and probably played his way into the late second round so he really has little to gain playing in the Peach Bowl. Other than playing the game he loves with his brothers the last time for PSU to bring home a NY6 bowl win for PSU. Yeah but he’s only doing for the swag and free trip. These players need to listen to you and understand what idiots they are for playing in these meaningless exhibition games. They don't. Doesn't mean the guys don't want SWAG or a free trip
The "you never played football or organized sports" is getting old. I guess Chop Robinson and countless others never did either.Tell Adisa Isaac a NY6 bowl game doesn’t matter. I agree but I think Olu is going to play. May not be all that much but I do think he will be there. The "you never played football or organized sports" is getting old. I guess Chop Robinson and countless others never did either.
Barkley knew what the game is but he wanted to play. Good for him. It doesn't make those that elect not to any worse
Eventually, hopefully next year, you'll all start to accept how little a bowl win means.
And these guys need additional film. Including Adisa. He's hoping to continue to move up. There's only two guys I said should opt out this season. One has. One likely still will. Pretending they're doing it for anyone other than themselves is delusional.
He may. I think it's a mistake on his part but I think coming back this year was as well. He has his reasons which is good enough for me. Just like Chop not playing.I

You obviously never had very good reading comprehension. Not once did I mention Chop or his decision to opt out which I completely understand. I also was surprised Barkley played, but that’s just the competitor he is. The whole point is referring to a NY6 bowl game as an exhibition is ridiculous and demeans all the players who choose to play. Barkley had a multi-million dollar contract on the line so why would he play in an exhibition game. Please don’t watch the bowl game or cheer on all the players that were stupid enough to play in an exhibition game. You obviously never had a multi-million dollar contract on the line.
It doesn't demean them. They have their reasons. It doesn't alter the game has no meaning. The playoff established that. Bowls only exist for $$$You obviously never had very good reading comprehension. Not once did I mention Chop or his decision to opt out which I completely understand. There you go with your "pretending" again. The "you never played football or organized sports" is getting old. I guess Chop Robinson and countless others never did either.

If the word fits...There you go with your "pretending" again.
The fact that someone opts out doesn't mean he thinks the game is meaningless or a scrimmage. It simply means he has something else more important to him.The "you never played football or organized sports" is getting old. I guess Chop Robinson and countless others never did either.
No one is opting out of a meaningful game. When you see someone skip a playoff game you can make that claim but we know all what the bowls are. Including the players. The fact that someone opts out doesn't mean he thinks the game is meaningless or a scrimmage. It simply means he has something else more important to him.
They came back to win a title. Not play in a bowl gameRemember when the entire front 4 of the DL returned for another year at Clemson just to win a Natl Title, which they did against Bama a few years back. Some of them were sure 1st rd picks, including Christian Wilkens taken #13 by Miami. So, there are players who want to take one for the team!
That is exactly what I referred to, whack job! They came back to win a title. Not play in a bowl game
So what does that have to do with anyone playing in this game? That is exactly what I referred to, whack job!
Right--kids come back for countless reasons which I'm always said. See Olu.It shows that even 1st rd draft choice will come back. Players that are "much better" than the ones sitting out of our, or any other Bowl Game.
Is it ok with you that someone cares to make an opinion outside the box, Mr. Board Master. Now go rent a porn movie and jerk off rather than spending 18 hours every day monitoring this board!
God Bless TW!When it comes to the bowl game, he made it clear that there wasn’t much of a decision to make. He’s going to play. However, when it comes to whether or not he’ll enter the 2024 NFL Draft, that’s still up in the air.
“I really don’t think there was much of a decision,” said Warren, when asked if he’ll take the field with the Nittany Lions on Dec. 30. “I’m on this team and that’s the next game on the schedule. I got commitments to this team, so that’s what I do.”
