Why do you have to call someone sad and pathetic because they think what Terry did was kind of weird? There's no need for personal snipes because someone doesn't agree with you.

Clark explicitly said he didn't want to do the throw but Terry insisted he do it. That's kind of creepy on Terry's part. Very uncool for an authority figure to do that. If Clark said no, Terry should have let it go.

BTW idiot-boy, I've got no problem with Iowa or either of the Brands brothers which anyone would know from reading my prior posts. It isn't my problem if you get upset simply because I don't find this "scripted moment" to be a tear-jerking, touching "sweet moment" like you do. Again, "to each his own" in this regard as I stated in my original response to your original post ON THIS BOARD - a PSU-dedicated board. You don't like the fact that I disagree with your assertion that it was a tender, tear-jerking, spontaneous moment.....and that it was "scripted" and "contrived" more than anything else - ewwwwwwe, I'm all broken up about that.... I don't think its worth getting this worked up over. Congrats to CC, kid battled and I was happy for him. I'm not a big fan of a staged celebration and not the biggest fan of Terry's antics but who cares. Its been a tough few years for them, let them celebrate however they want. PSU WON 5 TITLES! I'm just happy to enjoy this unbelievable accomplishment and crazy run!

No doubt, it's about Cory Clark - he's a great Champ and seems like a great person from the way he's acted on the mat and what he's had to say in interviews.

The poster I responded to came on here to tell us what we were and weren't allowed to think about the topic (i.e., TB asking CC to flip him and the subsequent event). The poster is all pissed off that I disagreed with his stated opinion that it was a spontaneous, touching, heart-rending, tear-jerking, inspirational event (and not a scripted, contrived event requested by TB) - essentially, his anger and name-calling directed at me has zippity-do-dah-day to do with hating Iowa, the Brands brothers or Corey Clark and everything to do with calling bull$hit on his characterization of the event - I have no problem with Iowa or the Brands brothers and am happy for Corey Clark. Other than the poster being a douche, there is no problem whatsoever.

I tend to agree with you. It's the HR response to hearing something you don't like to hear.

Clark was not ambiguous about the situation. He clearly stated the Terry suggested it and that he (Clark) didn't want to do it. Instead of letting it go like a mature person, Terry insisted again and Clark complied. You got the distinct feeling Clark did it just to shut Terry up.

Nobody is grasping at anything. Clark was abundantly clear on how it transpired and the fact that people find it creepy, weird, contrived or any similar adjective shouldn't be a shock to any thinking person.

My self kinda enjoyed It was thinking maybe Cory suggested it sorry guess I was wrong. Was thinking coach I told you some day gonna take you down after all the times you did to me in practice and I never could get to you. Just my feelings on this. So happy for Clark 4 time AA and went out not having to be the bridesmaid again. For this old Hawk fan he reminded me of Matt McD. a warrior lots of heart, guts and some talent also...


Now I have to admit how very impressed I was with the showing your guys did..Man from 149-184 5 in a row in the semis..Told my friends that I really believe that your guys could repeat it in the finals..No way they replied..So I said well if they lose one most likely be at 165 so shows you how much I know.
