Is Mendenhall a defensive guy? If so, and Poindexter ends up @ UVA as a DC, would it be a possibility to bring in Mendenhall as a DC? Just asking because I don't know much about him.

Could just be that D1 football with NIL and the portal is too much of a grind for him and he doesn't want to work under those conditions. I believe his roots are in Utah. Perhaps him and his family head back that way.
