BTN analysts have quite a different take on the MSU scandal than the Sandusky one

First off, they are very careful to call it the Nassar scandal, not the MSU one. Then they were disucssing Izzo after his post-game interview from yesterday's game where he would not answer any specific questions about allegations against former player/coach Walton. One said Izzo is very tough and will not back down. The other said it is understandable Izzo does not answer the question now because he may not have complete knowledge of the situation. The incident he was questioned about was from 2010 when Walton punching a woman in the face at a bar while he was a GA on his staff (after playing for him). The evidence was pretty cut and dry. It happened in 2010, I think he knows all he is going to know. Walton was later accused of a sexual assault along with a couple of teammates. His current employer, an NBA team immediately put him on leave.

Then the BTN analyst said maybe MSU basketball can help the victims heal by continuing to play. Unbelievable. Yeah, I am sure the victims who were assaulted by MSU employee Nassar wnat nothing more to do than celebrate MSU sports success. As long as the students wear teal shirts and Izzo continues to say they are playing for the victims.

Honestly, is it really surprising the media isn't reacting as poorly as they did last time? The NCAA and the media learned something as everyone should have after everything played out.

Also, when Michigan State defends itself instead of screaming for everyone to punish them it makes a difference as well. I know most believe Boeheim got a better deal than Paterno simply because he was at Syracuse and we know the ESPN ties to that University but Boeheim defended himself. Paterno did/wasn't able to.

What happened here should have never happened but we (our administration) enabled it to. Michigan State won't. Nor would anyone else.

Actually, it's worse. The victims associated with MSU basketball had nothing to do with Nassar--they were assaulted by MSU basketball players.

The reality is that the bogus grand jury presentment painted a picture ten times more horrific than anything that happened at MSU and people will never be able to scrub that from their minds. Thanks to Frank Fap Fina and Jonele Eshbach and their culture of "convictions at any cost" at the PA OAG. The mere thought of Sandusky raping a little boy in the showers, Joe could have hounded the police every day for 10 years straight and the public would still accept nothing short of Joe shooting Jerry in the head himself.

Time to admit the obvious...."IT WAS AN INSIDE JOB". The Penn State Scandal was engineered by professionals hired to create a "Story" that was sold to the public by a complicit Criminal Media.

All of this would not be possible if it was not for the Political control obtained by Corbett (and others in PA politics) providing "favors with personal financial benefits" to our own dear OGBOT. For without the "Bank of PSU", there would be no way to pay for and "on board" the professional PR hit men necessary to carry out this crime.

If you doubt me...review just some of the "over compensated" players here - Freeh, - The NCAA (in the form of an admitted illegal $60M fine - which the weasel PA State cronies out punched the NCAA for control of - Delaney's B1G millions withheld from PSU by sanctioning the B1G as Bowl monies - the assigned & Highy paid "Academic Compliance" officer deemed essential to PSU's rehabilitation from Football Criminality....ALL of these AND MORE on the money take from what, anywere but PA, could have never happened.

And don't forget that only a very small number of lawyers participated in "representing (coaching) the victims"...victims who got paid even when there was no LEGAL RIGHT OR REASON to provide financial compensation to them (outside SOL) - and in these PSU payments, TSM was contractually "Held Harmless" for any future legal activities (find me another settlement process like this!!!) Also, the lawyers here make a very neat "distribution point" for political payouts made possible by the State's unfair and illegal OAG activities.

And how was all of this money payment justified by the politically beholding OGBOT?? The selling of the Public on the fact less "Story" of "Criminal Football Culture" at Penn State. A fraudulently constructed "Story" designed to cover-up TSM's illegal money laundering and "pleasures trafficking" to high $$$ politically sanctioned "elites". It is the highly integrated media control of facts that allowed the "Story" to deceive the public into believing Penn State FOOTBALL was COMPLETELY & SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for personal Crimes of a FORMER employee created by - then PROMOTED and Validated BY AN ILLEGAL OAG group.

The "Story" assembled by this group so outraged the public that the two OGBOT persons could write $100+M in checks to "Victims" and these "payments" received absolutely NO OVERSIGHT.

IN FACT..... I now understand Mickey Mouse was paid $7M because he too was a "Sandusky victim" in 1970 while watching cartoons with Sandsky in the Showers at PSU.

GET REAL FOLKS....It WAS and IS nothing but a political hit...but a crime that put lots of Penn State (Public) money into the REAL criminal's pockets. AND ---- it has effectively covered up political crimes committed by the State as well as allowing TSM (the real "enabler" here) to SHRED ALL OF ITS INCRIMINATING LEGAL RECORDS & EVIDENCE!!!

If you have nerve enough...see the 2011-18 Penn State's Political Murder...it was recorded in some Parallel Universe and captured on film. This is essentially how the PSU Robbery was engineered by Political Professionals.
