Applying similar Hawkeye logic, we must acknowledge that the best NCAA football programs are as follows:
1) Yale, with the MOST national championships
2) Princeton and Alabama (tie)
3) Notre Dame
Obviously everyone thinks of Yale when they think of dominant, NC winning college football, NOT Alabama. Recent success cannot outshine the winning tradition and history of the Bulldogs, the Kings of college football.
