Believe it or not there are only 10 days before Penn State's Blue White Game on Saturday, April 13. Close to 100 recruits are expected to be on campus for the Blue White Game and recruiting for the class of 2020 is starting to heat up with the Nittany Lions landing their 6th verbal commitment from 5.7 three star OG Golden Achumba [6-4, 320] from Hyattsville [Md.] DeMatha.
Penn State will be holding its 10th practice session of spring practice late this afternoon [Wednesday, April 3]. Probably the competition that has taken place at a number of positions on offense and defense has been the #1 highlight of spring practice. Shaka Toney and Jayson Oweh at weakside DE, Sean Clifford and Will Levis at QB, Ricky Slade and Journey Brown at RB, Michael Miranda and C.J. Thorpe at RG, Jan Johnson, Ellis Brooks and Jesse Luketa at MLB and many more. Plus spring standouts like WR Jahan Dotson, DT P.J. Mustipher, RT Rasheed Walker and January enrollee CBs Keaton Ellis and Marquis Wilson.
So there is a lot to discuss concerning the Penn State football program with just five spring practice sessions remaining. Just like I did with my chats back in December before the Citrus Bowl with Kentucky, I'll be posting this thread early this [Wed., April 3] morning as a "sticky thread" so that you can post your questions ahead of the 1 PM start of the chat.
