I happen to enjoy heal Gable, but those who don't will be happy to know he left the match with a bloody nose!
Did Gable win?

I strongly agree. Gable is a beast and we could have had him but the Coaches must think Seth is the real deal as well. A guy at work told me they wrestled a couple times years ago and they were very close matches. I do think Seth will improve more then Gable. Guess we will see if it's enough. He wanted him last year but Gable was a no show.I happen to enjoy heal Gable, but those who don't will be happy to know he left the match with a bloody nose!

I roll stogies near Chattanooga and love the Scuffle, but, I’m beginning to wonder if Keen might be a better early challenge of our young bucks. Trust in Cael for sure. Just sayin!
Just an opinion that isn't informed nor educated, just a wild guess - if Okie State and PSU continue to return annually to the Scuffle (no Italy trips, no Big10 duals the first weekend after the New Year) teams will begin returning to the Scuffle to get exposure to the Cowboys and Lions.Too many Big Ten teams for my liking.
We’ll see almost all of these Big Ten teams down the road.
I like the Scuffle. Get to see some interesting non-conference squads incl Okie St.

There are definitely easier things to do than compete with the Nits and Cowboys, but if you have national aspirations you need to measure yourself to identify areas that may need improvement.I also have an opinion that is neither informed or educated.....but I will bet a night of beer that a South Beach Vacation in Florida will easily outvote a trip to Tennessee to grapple with Okie State and Penn State. If you look at the team schedules.....there is plenty of recreational time built in to enjoy Florida in early January.. I say it gets bigger instead of smaller.
Have to remember the room he practices in and who MIGHT be there to push him daily. A definite disadvantage for elite guys when going against elite competition.Micah apparently gassed Ashnault from bottom.

Ash wins but what was up with that 3rd period? I realize Jordan is elite but 3 takedowns in the 3rd?
Ash was gassed, takes a lot of effort to ride like he did in the first. Needs to fix that a little for the rematch
Yes.Didn't Cornell used to come (maybe they still do?) to the Scuffle?
Koll talks a lot, but he doesn’t want none anymore. The Truth destroying Lewnes was the first signDidn't Cornell used to come (maybe they still do?) to the Scuffle? I'd like to consistently see PSU, Okie St., a team like Cornell and throw in a VT or NCST as well. Don't need a bunch of BIG Ten teams there, but would like a few top 15-20 programs to give the guys multiple tough matches.
Doesn’t it seem like Koll and co. are angling to turn South Beach Duals into a dual national tourney?Doubt they’ll return to the Scuffle as long as that event is successful. Also highly doubt he’d avoid facing PSU wrestlers as a decision point.
Rob Koll is a jackass
It isn't the same as when PSU started going to the Scuffle, but the Scuffle used to give the Lions a diverse look at the competition. As someone else posted I doubt you will see the Lions traveling to Las Vegas simply because it is Big10 heavy. I believe Cael and Smith will try convincing some other programs to give the Scuffle another go.I roll stogies near Chattanooga and love the Scuffle, but, I’m beginning to wonder if Keen might be a better early challenge of our young bucks. Not a chance. The South Beach Duals is, for most of the teams involved, a working vacation first and a wrestling meet second. That's something that can't even be said about Cliff Keen. Turning the SBD into a dual national tournament would jeopardize that.Doesn’t it seem like Koll and co. are angling to turn South Beach Duals into a dual national tourney?Doubt they’ll return to the Scuffle as long as that event is successful.
