Contract dispute with DTV is over!

The local NBC TV affiliate in Cincinnati is now available on DTV again. I would assume other Hearst TV owned affiliates across the country are also available.
Correct! We have channel 4 (ABC) back in Pittsburgh. Now I can watch the local news and catch up on shootings, house fires, traffic accidents and cats stuck in tall trees!

You were spared Ziggy temporarily. Nobody missed Sally Wiggin. The news anchor, Michigan alum, who shows up in Steelers post-game and playoff and Super Bowl coverage being a cheerleader, "Didn't Hines Ward look great out there today," when she should be in studio reading a teleprompted script.

Sally Wiggin is very cool. I have met her a few times at charity events and was interviewed by her a couple times and she is extremely down to earth and hilarious. She constantly makes fun of herself. She is basically retired now, but still emcees various charity functions and an occasional WTAE show.

Sally is OK in my book. I truly never knew she was a UM alum. She is very self-depricating and funny. I just HATE the "TMZ" aspect of the local news these days.

Sorry gents, never felt she should of made the trips to the Super Bowl sites when the Steelers were playing. That's a sports anchor's/reporter's place not a local news anchor, as well as on-site for before and after Monday Night Football games, stay in the studio news anchor, let a sports anchor/reporter do their job.
