I have to question the weigh in weights for Spencer and Ono. Spencer looked a lot bigger than Ono.

Can't pencil Ono into the 2026 finals yet, I'm told PSU landing him isn't a big deal .. he'll never get out from bottom, he'll stall for 7 minutes and ride parallel ... What did I miss?

Spenser is exceptionally good wrestler; the pace was so feverish he did know what hit him. You can see it in his face at the end of the match. It is like, what just happened, that was uncomfortable. I'm sure he was thinking about what might have been. It seemed more like survival mode against Ono and not wanting to make a mistake.

Ono must have some generational strength. Never saw Spencer get horsed in ties like that. Would've loved to see them both let it fly. Ono might have a gear that Spencer just doesn't have.

Shouldn't be depressing, but expected. Stalling in Iowa has become "the other guy scored all the points, so obviously he stalled."

The "ref made bad calls" seems to be the biggest point of contention on the Hawks board.
Weird Spencer isn't better at going to his knees to get the grounded calls.

I think it speaks to the culture in the room culture, there's obviously a language barrier ... but somehow on the flip side, Ono clearly feels fully integrated in the PSU/NLWC brotherhood.
