Lee never came close to scoring an offensive point. Tight score but Ono absolutely dominated the handfight which I didn’t expect. Ono also had the only leg attack which Spencer defended beautifully. Both guys gave each other a ton of respect. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Spencer’s offense shut down like that. He really never came close
Ono looked to be every bit as strong, bullied Spencer with the pushouts and beat him on the hand fighting and ties. Spencer not use to that and certainly had no answer for it.
Loved the shout out to NLWC by Ono. I needn't say any more than that.
Brands being an a$$ and getting an immediate yellow card might have been the best part.

Wow…Spencer didn’t even sniff a takedown. Ono at least got to a leg, and was much more aggressive. That first push out was sick. Surprising.
So the whole “ Spencer worked out with him and knows he can beat him” pre match thinking was a canard?
His closest was where he scored his first point for some improper counter by Ono. Announcer said, “he has 2 hands on Lee’s head.” I don’t know that rule- does anyone know what the point was for?

Couldn't get himself to even say Spencer lost. Basically just wanted to just say Ono won with grit, and not that Ono basically beat Spencer by bullying him, winning the ties and hand fighting and never even threatened Ono. You could just tell it was killing him his kids favorite wrestler got beat.

I thought Lee looked bigger than Ono but Ono really did bully him. Used his underhook to perfection. His underhook plus his collar and ankle to both sides is a tough combination to beat. He can win from ties, open, low level attacks or upper body. And he’s only just now 21. Kid is going to be a problem for a long time

To my eyes.......Spencer looked bigger and it didn't look close. Ono is slick and more powerful than you might expect. Bo and Zain looked happy 
Why would Spencer fans be in shambles? Ono just obliterated Vito and Uguev. I was glad to see Spencer not get blown off the mat.
I’ll go out on a limb and guess the folks on GIA are complaining that Ono was stalling.

I was surprised our very own Jason Nolf predicted that Lee might tech Ono.
In fairness, there was only 1 shot that got a leg, a very boring match.

Lee got in deep on fireman's carry, but Ono fought him off. IIRC, that's the only time Lee was even close to a takedown. Ono's defense was rock solid.
I was just about to say this same thing. I was picking Ono but Nolf being so confident in Spencer not only winning but blowing Ono out gave me pause. I’d like to hear what Nolf says after the match
Think Spencer participates with content on Jason's wrestling app. I'd expect him to pimp Spencer ...

His prediction was predicated on Lee getting the gut wrench and pilling on back points, but that's kind of hard when you can't get a takedown. I don't think anyone would have predicted zero TDs in the whole match. Spencer only needed one to fulfill Nolf's prophecy.
Jason also gushed over Spencer's strength. Guess he didn't forsee Ono being the bully of the two...
