This is where we are on the same page.

Cortez should worry more about what Coach thinks than the fans. Hitting out at the fans is always a losing proposition.
Surprising. Can’t believe Sanderson is a fan of the antics or letting outside talk into your head. Maybe not the best way to keep your role........but he did wrestle well against a decent kid.
Downey RankingsMaybe we have Downey rank the college guys?
Pretty much, yeah. While the "shhh" isn't really a big deal in my book, it's kind of odd. On one hand Cortez says that any criticism of him is wasted energy, yet it clearly bothers him, as indicated his "shhh" and other quotes in the article.
It's an improvement after his effort against Lehigh (Karam) but, yeah, a one point win over Weaver isn't really "shhh" worthy IMO.
My christmas wish is that for a week in my bizzaro world Flo would allow you to rank and comment on the rankings. It would be the greatest 6 pack, cigar and internet observance time ever. Better yet would be if you did HS rankings. That would be magical comment reading.
I'm sure there is a wrestling podcast LemonPie could get on! I've flirted with starting a PSU wrestling podcast myself. I'd have LemonPie on.
That would be cool. Ive long advocated that flo should every once and awhile interview some of the more noteworthy posters on the interwebs. I think it would be f** and f**ny.
If I do start a wrestling podcast it's going to be called the "Wrestling is f** Podcast."
Karam is going to be very very good.
It's an age-old problem of whether to react to stuff. Usually, reaction is overreaction, but sometimes a reaction *may* prevent piling on and prevent others from defining you. In presidential politics, Kerry and Gore were too dignified to react, and they got Swift-Boated and mis-defined as "wooden". Trump reacts to everything and it actually worked out for him. It's a hard call to make how much to react. In Cortez's case, if it makes him feel better to react, I would let him react, if I were coach.Pretty much, yeah. Yeah, I don't know precisely how the staff feels but I would think that because Cortez is fighting for his job he'll get leeway to use whatever motivational hooks work for him, even if it means casting the PSU fans as the world in his Me vs. World construction. Shows he's competitive. I'd rather see him fight for his job than let it get taken from him. It's an age-old problem of whether to react to stuff. Wouldn't be the first time a wrestler has to correct a bad habit. Will that be after he begins to wrestle on two legs in neutral, or while he continues to wrestle on one leg?
Wouldn't be the first time a wrestler has to correct a bad habit.
He goes to Lehigh, that habit is going to get refined, not corrected
5 years of Mason Beckman indicates no.Was just about to ask, if Santoro & staff were even interested in correcting.
