Period 1:
Asher works the head, then drops to a leg & finishes the TD, 3-0. Asher throws in a boot & is looking for a turn. Asher tries to cut McFillin, but McFillinn turns into him, so Asher jumps back on top. Asher puts the boot back in & tries to turn McFillin, but it's stopped for potentially dangerous, restart. McFillin is still down. Asher throws in a boot off the whistle. McFillin is fighting, but not getting anywhere. Asher tries a tilt, then adjusts, but can't get enough swipes for points. Asher keeps working & then loses control & gives up the escape, 3-1. Circling as the period ends.

Asher takes down. McFillin throws in a boot. Asher gets to a quadpod, then turns into McFillin. They scrambling & Asher gets in better position, but then McFillin gets an ankle. This is gonna be another tech. Wetzel is pretty good, S4 last year and headed to Lock Haven. But the common opponents results skew heavily toward Cunningham.
I think Ash techs his way to the title based on how good hes looked the last two weeks.
Cael never bothered calling him… learned that trick from TnT. 60% of the time it works every time.

Difficult to imagine how good one is to win by 2nd period TF in the PIAA AAA semifinals. It’s just not that easy.
Asher is very, very good but also he’s just unlike anything most HS kids have seen/felt before. Really, really funky wrestler (to nobody’s surprise).

You can tell by his style Casey has been extremely hands off with him lol
I really don't think he likes anyone or even cares. He is brutal and non stop.

Herring took a not great shot -- high crotch from a little too far out, with no setup at all, with arms not close in. Baum easily hooked his arm and spun him to the mat, and landed on his legs.
Herring will take 3rd now. There were only 2 guys at the weight capable of beating him, and they're in the finals.
