Good luck to him. AC has been down for a number of years, hopefully he makes them relevant again in the Philadelphia Catholic League. He was the linebacker coach at West Chester University.

Sh@t that's my old school. On symmetry, the former Strath Haven coach was the AC coach in the 80s.

I've been a fan since the 70's. Saw the painful 79 Sugar Bowl.

When we were preparing to play Miami, a media member asked Dan "what do you think about whatever his name was", the MLB for Miami? Connor responded with who's whatever this guy's name was. The Miami players too offense to Dan not knowing and started in with who's Dan Connor. He became known by several teammates as who's dan Connor.

You've got it wrong. It was 1999 when Lavar Arrington was asked about something that Dan Morgan said, and Arrrington replied "Who's Dan Morgan". (unless there was something with Dan Connor as well, though I've never heard that story referenced)

If you have been a fan since Dan played, you would understand the reference when we played Miami.

Actually, the quote you paraphrased predates Dan Connor's time at Penn State. The original quote was "Who is Dan Morgan" when Lavar Arrington was asked what he thought about the Miami linebacker who was also in consideration for individual CFB awards.

Ok this makes a bit more sense to me ... just a quote gone a little off course.

thx
