Who is excited for this one. I was always a Micheal Beard fan and wish him nothing but the best,,, but it’s tough to beat someone with Cael, Cody, Casey and Varner in their corner.

Have you seen him lately? He's jacked. He still doesn't have a gas tank. I would not be surprised to see Beard leading going into the 3rd only to get 'Warnered'. Dean by 3-4 points.
I am really hoping for a tough overtime match that shows how close these 2 really are. Nothing but the best for Beard and Dean.
Pulling for Beard this time around. Then hopefully we see Dean vs Beard in the NCAA finals where I'll pull for Dean.
Dean dominates the match. Assuming Dean stays healthy the only way Dean and Beard meet at NCAAs is Friday morning.

As much as I may like Beard, and wish him luck for most of the year, I am Team Dean every time they meet!
Dean beat out Beard before having a year in the room. Hard for me to believe Dean loses after having that year.
Since he already got whipped by Bonaccorsi, are you hoping he loses to Dean Sunday, or the tournament? Unless you are cheering for Dean on Sunday and figuring Beard takes 3rd at nationals losing to someone other than Dean?
Backdraft is a favorite of mine here but will say in no way can I get down with with his thinking here. Aside from loses eventually playing a part in tourney seed, no way I could root against the team I cheer for… and trust me I’ve tried. Steelers have virtually no shot at being a contender this year and the more they lose the better the draft pick. Still can’t hope for a loss…
Dean has added 5 lbs of muscle, one more year in our room rolling around with Cael, and is on a mission in his last year. I think we see a new kind of beast all season.

Not to beat a dead horse, because I believe we've had some sort of discussion previously about this topic here when Beard announced he was leaving, but my personal line of thinking is I just loved Beard's dedication to the team. I know it's crazy and I know I'm in the minority here. As far as I could tell, he bled blue and white his whole life, wanted to wrestle for Cael and PSU for a very long time, and he was in a great position to do so and was our guy until Max transferred in, and as a result I kinda felt bad for him. And for that, he's a favorite of mine, which is why I'd pull for him to beat Max just once. After that, all bets are off.
It’s a reasonable position derived from reasonable feelings.
