Warwick PA. Likely 125/133.

2013: 106, 40-6, SC Regional 4th, SQ
2014: 113, 29-4, SC Regional DNP
2015: 120, 43-5, SC Regional 2nd, State 6th (wrestled 113 in the postseason)
Career 112-15

Seems like an excellent pickup on multiple fronts.

Addresses the lack of numbers at 125 and 133 that Dice has mentioned.

Would not derail the Total World Domination plan you put forward earlier this year, which you modified a bit, and includes Spencer Lee, Nick Suriano, and Jared Cortez.

Is from PA, which helps both from a competition level and from a cost of education (to the wrestler) perspective.

Would provide good competition in the room, and could step into the lineup if needed and should be able to do well.

Only surprise is that we're reading about this now. Typically we don't learn of these verbals until April/May, or when the roster is updated by GoPSUsports.com.

Lots of positives.

Any chance he'll grow into a heavyweight? I kid, of course. Looks like a great addition to the room, welcome aboard!

An interesting article on Devin appeared in LancasterOnline during last year's PA States. You can access it at THIS LINK. It provides some background on Devin, his family, and his accomplishments and injuries in high school.

Tom: interesting bit in the Penn Live story:

snip ---------

SPEAKING OF RECRUITS: Mark Hall of Apple Valley, Minnesota, the nation's No. 1-ranked recruit, has said on Twitter that he will announce his college decision on Nov. 11 on Flowrestling.com.

Is there a correlation between his announcement, which earlier was thought to be in late October, and Penn State's annual media day, which is also Nov. 11? Why not some food for thought during the preseason?

Hall made his second visit to Penn State over the weekend, this one an official visit. Blue-While Illustrated photographed him on the sideline during the Penn State-Indiana football game with true freshman wrestler Vincenzo Joseph.

--------

Re the 2nd paragraph - Wouldn't that be interesting. Hey, I'll look for anything positive as that young man keeps it close to the vest.

Sounds like someone at PennLive got bored.

Since the simplest reason is usually the real one, here are 2 much simpler ones: (1) he wants more time to decide, or (2) he's doing it on Veterans' Day since his dad is a vet (his tweet cited Veterans' Day).

Thanks for killing my hopes.

or (3) a reason we dont know yet

This is as good a place as any to discuss something I opined on the Lion's Den.

Anybody given any thought to the idea that unless Hall has decided NOT to attend the OTC, it is unlikely that he will be signing a NLI no matter who he announces on November 11th? I mean, why would he????? And, if he does leave the door open for the OTC at the announcement, that the announcement will pretty much mean squat...

Exactly! A very realistic possibility imo.

Since state college is now a RTC, could young Mr. Hall wrestle under the NLWC banner and travel between the OTC and the RTC to perfect his freestyle craft for this grey year?

Things that make you go hmmmm

Another example of how this D Bag knew Jack $hit about wrestling, or anything else for that matter.

Aww, you mad your boy was wrong?
I do not know Tom....never met him. I only know of him by what he writes. I don't know you....never met you. Again....only by what you write. What I can say is that to post a thread that is nearly 8 years old just so you can insult the writer is.....what's the word?......Abnormal. You may want to do some serious self-reflection. Talk to someone about your issues. Might want to stop posting until you do.

Psugo823 went into the time tunnel.

Is this a case where you wake up from your incoherent drunk and realize you can’t delete anything, or is this par for the course for the one who resurrected this thread?
