it appeared he was knocked cold for awhile and I presume he did, but then I read he sent some out on Twitter with no mention of his condition.

He almost certainly went through the concussion protocol when he left the game. Whether he was actually diagnosed with a concussion after going through the testing or its severity probably won’t ever be shared publicly.

Hey, Im a Boiler fan that has Hamler in a fantasy league. Franklin should take that approach, Brohm does that too for the most part.

Will Franklin give any indication if he will play or is it all just guessing until kickoff?

It depends. He might acknowledge during his press conference this week that he expects Hamler to play, or he might not say anything. We might hear reports during the open practice on Wednesday that Hamler is suited up and practicing, or they might still hold him out of practice. Under Franklin, you usually can’t guess it with any kind of accuracy until you see who’s suited up and going through warmups on Saturday. We might get hints, but nothing is ever definitive - which is understandable, especially with suspected head injuries.

Thanks, so even if a hint comes out, its probably nothing to count on. Thats very helpful. I have other, less spectacular but still viable, options.

Also, with a promising young guy like Hamler and a roster full of atheletes a guy like me could only wish for, you have no need for David Bell. Just chill on him.
