Never saw it, so it may have been used in more than one place. The one I was thinking of was from an episode of LA Law. Guy with Tourettes was being cross-examined by a woman defense attorney. First question she asks, he comes out with it.
Sorry for the obscurity. For some reason I've never forgotten that 25 years later.
"Whore. Slut. Bitch." $1 for the first person who knows where that came from.
saw the same episode and thought the same thing. That show was pretty good in the first couple of seasons.Never saw it, so it may have been used in more than one place. Since we're being off topic and obscure, who remembers hearing the line: "How about a shot of the Grand Canyon?"... Sorry for the obscurity. For some reason I've never forgotten that 25 years later.
We dont have back-ups at 157--165 and 174?-- middle weights very thin??you better take a better look at the roster--- Berge--Manville-Verkleeren--Piper-Blumer-Bisono- Plus Lee coming net year--we are pretty deep in the middle weightsThere is not much room for recovery when kids don't pan out or stuff happens. The lightweights are a prime example.
We thought 125 was locked down with Nick S.
We thought we had 133 filled with Cortez.
You have a plan, and when stuff happens (transfers & injuries) it is tough to recover. You cannot pluck a kid from campus at any weight and just keep going. Look at 157 too. We don't have an answer to a long term Nolf outage. Nor at 165 or 174. That middle weight range is very thin, because we cannot afford to bring in a lot of top end talent, nor do they want to sit in that range for a few years.
Cael is not only loading up the light weights, but he is doing a tremendous job across the weights in restocking the talent. We lose Kuhn/Keener/Zain this year, but add Beard, RBY, JLee, Snacks, Teasdale, Teske, and have Brooks skipping a year. How does he do it? (Insert obligatory slush fund comment for HR)
The light weights may not be a strength next year, but it won't be a weakness, and will have talent to develop.
