Neat to see our quarterback listed as other in the running.
DJ Newman - 148/210 (70.4%) for 2,159 yards and 5 int, along with 143 carries for 1,311 yards. Normally played a series or two in the second half. Finished our season 12-1.
Then went out in second game of season and put up 26 in basketball. Also, was first All-Ohio in baseball and has verballed to BG to pitch. Great kid.
Didn’t realize Allar was 6’ 5”. Different look for a PS quarterback.

I am told that he is 6-6 and in the 240 range. many compare him to Big Ben.
don't be silly, Big Ben is going to be in the pro football hall of fame
slam dunk. We can all agree or disagree but if a QB wins two SBs and goes to a third he is a slam dunk for a HoF induction.
Watched him play a couple of times. Very good if he gets protection from his line. In the State Semi finals St. Edward's didn't give him time to set up , and he wasn't effective.

Looking forward to watching the Army All American High School game this saturday at noon--Allar, Singleton, and on defense Leon Kylie at LB and Dani Sutton at DE--- will be more exciting than last Saturday.
Allar couldn't hit the side of a barn on throws over 10 yards. Project.
Somebody hates it that his Buckeyes missed on a big time recruit
I was with a couple of buckeye season ticket holders last night. They saw something different during the game: a kid that has natural ability that can’t be taught. One of the guys son plays for St Ed’s, who beat Medina in the semi finals. They said allar was top shelf and made plays against them despite being out gunned at each of the other 21 positions on the field.
When he missed receivers, he was usually missing receivers by 5-10 yards. This is NOT inaccuracy. Hell, even I could throw more accurately that that. It was quite obviously either miscommunication or wrong routes. Anyone who could not see that is just not someone who has watched much football.
