That's ridiculous. Kj hamler, lamont wade, fred hansard, donovan johnson is hardly recruiting poorly. So rivers is going to vt because of his GF is Franklin's fault? It's actually a slap in the face from Rivers to pull this crap this late in the process instead of giving this staff more time to recruit another linebacker to take his spot

Should probably revisit this post tomorrow when Castro Fields makes his announcement.....or remind you we recently flipped a Florida commit. Ohio State and Alabama have each had more decommits than PSU this year...it's reality for every program.
Rivers committed almost 14 months ago but has been 50/50 at best since summer for anyone that followed his situation closely.
Not losing any sleep over decommits this year. The staff and team have done everything conceivable to keep these guys in the fold whether that be winning on the field or upgrading facilities. In the case of Rivers, if he wants to stay in state and be close to his girlfriend, more power to him. It would have been nice to have more notice to work other targets but Faison Walden and Brailyn Franklin are every bit as legit at OLB as Rivers would be.

Frankly, after the staff's first try, I cannot see how they could possibly screw it up worse, so yeah, why not?
Most grad transfers are kids who didn't or aren't going to play very much at their original school. There is usually a reason for that and it ain't very good.

When the rest of you stop polluting the recruiting threads with bickering and other nonsense, then you can complain about keeping recruiting info only on these threads.
