So far, the Cowboys are having their way with the Eagles defense. Only a couple of flukey plays are keeping it close.
Too early to panic, but Hurts is … not having a good game.

Ask Miami how they feel about blowing off a GREAT QB class this past April. I feel if the QB isn’t the guy, you IMMEDIATELY draft another.
^^^this^^^ and all indications were that the Eagles never believed Hurts was the answer. All of his shortcomings (lack of reads, quick to scramble, inaccurate passes) are on display versus a so-so Cowboys defense.
This season is all about proving that out, I guess. Miraculously, the Eagles are still within shouting distance, if they get their sh*t together and do something.
So that was the first I’d seen or listened to Berman in like forever. My god he sounds like shit. Does he have health issues?
You can say all of that. I just never thought he had the arm strength to be a starting QB on a playoff team

well that was an ugly pick 6 thrown by Hurts. Smith fell down, so I guess you can't put all the blame on Hurts.
He was so average that Bama pulled him at halftime of the title game for a true freshman. He benefit from the talent gap at Bama and the Riley offense in No Defense Conference (Big 12). He's going to make somebody a decent short yardage QB after this experiment fails though.
That was likely picked even if Smith didn’t fall down. Minimum of a risky pass break up. Hurts seemed to force that in there.
As a long time Dallas sufferer, I can say the Def is better than so-so this year. Been putrid the past couple of years.
Basing it off body of work against Tampa and Chargers and this game so far. They are far better but agree, its a marathon not a sprint.
That said, I think the best coach in the history of the Eagles is not a Head Coach. Jim Johnson was brilliant.

Some of the protection issues are from Hurts. He hasn’t helped himself at times. But the OL isn’t good. Can we end the Andre Dillard experiment?
So the Eagles are looking at 1-3 after playing KC next week. They then have @Carolina, Tampa and @Raiders.
The season outlook ain’t great at this point. It may be Tanktown and positioning for a QB next draft.
