Eagles are going to have to win this game in the trenches. The Falcons have more quality skill players.
I don't think so. Fletcher Cox was about to tackle him for a sack, or at best a small gain.
Reminds me of that Brandon Smith call last year. I guess safety's aren't allowed to try to catch the ball anymore in case there's contact when both players are going after it.
well, the half-full perspective would be that they can't possibly make as many mistakes in the 2nd half, so things are looking up.
he's certainly not Wentz. That said, the conditions at the Linc are not all that good today for QBs. Ryan has had some bad throws as well in the swirling winds.

Field maintenance at the Linc is the responsibility of the Eagles. As of mid-week, the field still had snow on it. Then on Friday and early this morning, it absolutely poured in Philadelphia.

I'm as big an Eagles fan as anyone, but Foles has looked pretty much like this since Wentz' injury. It is what it is.
The Eagles aren't playing poorly. Not sure I get the frustration. If I was an Eagles fan I would have been very happy if you told me with 7 minutes left in the third it was a 1 point game. Tons of football left.
It's not just the Eagles, but an NFL epidemic. The art of tackling is has been lost.
