wow, 4th & goal at the 2. 1:01 left in the game. The Birds call TO to stop the clock. Falcons score, they take the lead. Birds stop them, they can run out the clock

Unreal ending. I am not a fan of settling for the field goal, but the Eagles live to see another day. Nice day by Foles. If they clean up the fumbles, they would have won this one walking away. Very very good defense

I thought the FG was the right decision, but that’s 20-20 vision right there. Worked out, fortunately. Was a pretty good game, IMHO. Atlanta won turnovers and field position but couldn’t finish off the Eagles.
My thoughts going into the game were that the Eagles were going to need a strong effort by their D to win the game.
In the 2nd half:
- they shutout the Falcons
- they did not allow the Falcons to score at the end of the game, when the Falcons had 1st and goal inside the 10, and 4 shots to score a TD

Some head scratcher plays called by Atlanta inside the 10. The shovel pass was really stupid. Rolling Ryan into the boundary on 4th down is plain stupid. You eliminate half the field.
Not really......Atlanta proper is more Georgia Tech territory. Atlantans sort of look down there nose at Dawg fans. There is a saying down here....."there is the state of Georgia and the 'state' of Atlanta". So true....2 different worlds.
I thought that looked just like the other non-catch that was overturned. I think the fact that it was Julio Jones at the "receiving" end helped the refs make the ruling in the Falcons' favor.
Oh well, all's well that ends well! That's the main thing.
May actually have a GOOD shot at making the Super Bowl and win, unlikeb the gambling years of Tose.

you're over thinking this.
all season, I had game threads for Eagles games with the same Subject line. To have a different one in the playoff game would have been bad voodoo. Think of Silver Linings Playbook.
