Tom may be at the game or out enjoying this great weather. 7-0 Giants Saquon being Saquon on the opening drive. Several nice runs and a 10 yd screen pass for a TD.

That was a pretty weak holding call on Kelce. Could call that on every down. Negated a 52 yd TD run by Adams.

The Giants went for two? That's what I just read on the espn gamecast.

Meh. As an Eagles fan, I can’t argue with the call. It was literally right where Adams cut through the line on the run.

This game will be over soon enough.

Penalty on the Eagles moved the ball to the 1. They were going to kick the PAT.

Thanks. Interesting choice to throw there. And then Eli missed an open receiver per LionJim. That could come back to hurt the Giants.

That was a penalty on Jenkins at the goal line. Really surprised they didn’t call it.

Two runs by Barkley stuffed and 3rd down incomplete to Barkley could have been PI on Jenkins, but prob a good no call.

Are these Big Ten refs doing this game? You would literally have to throw a flag on every pass play if that was a penalty on Alshon.

There’s some serious talent at the Linc today

and some serious lack of talent at CB for the Birds, due to all the injuries they've suffered at that position this season.

Nice to see Tim Jernigan finally off of IR and playing for the Birds at DT.

I haven't a clue why the Birds went with their black uniforms today. They've only worn them one game this season -- their debacle against Dallas. I'm not superstitious, and I'll always prefer the kelly green unis, but why wear something that brought you absolutely no luck in a prior game?

@sluggo72, it appears that Wiz did not start for the Birds. smh

Sorry I wasn't around to start my traditional Birds thread. A few tasks and errands needed to be completed by me to maintain domestic bliss. ;)

I find it odd even asking this, but is it possible that Pederson winds up on the hot seat heading into 2019? It’s obvious the defensive issues are injury related, but the offense and Wentz are major issues that sit with Doug.

No way. They waited nearly 60 years for a championship. They would be insane to let him go. The fans might call for it because they are morons, but the team won’t panic.

I’m more speaking to the Philly media putting him on the hot seat. Lurie’s too patient to do anything rash. Roseman deserves some heat too, as his personnel moves didn’t work out (not resigning Robinson, trading Torrey Smith for Wallace, etc).

Sure the Philly media will always look to manufacture controversy. They are dumber than the fans. The organization appears to be well run for the first time in a long time.

These refs....what the hell.

I am not a fan of either team but this game is one of the worst officiated games I have ever seen.

Robinson not being with the team hurts, especially with all the injuries the Birds have suffered at CB this season. Reportedly, Howie offered Robinson more $$ than did the Saints, but the Saints offered more guaranteed $$, and that was the difference. Robinson got something like $10 mill guaranteed, with a lot of it upfront/1st year. The Birds were up near the cap limits, so they didn't have the option of front loading the contract. (Basically, the Birds had to choose between Robinson and Bradham. At the time, I thought they made the better decision in signing Bradham.) I'd also add that I think Robinson made the correct choice. The Birds signed him in 2017 for a 1-year veteran minimum. He's 31, and has a history of injuries. The Birds elected to go younger. Minus the injuries, it made have been a win-win for Robinson and for the Birds.

As for Torrey Smith, I'll give Howie a pass on that. Smith was overpaid, and while he was a speed threat, he consistently dropped balls that should have been caught all last season. Wallace had no injury problems in the past in the NFL. He suffered a broken fibula in the 2nd game of this season, which is not something anyone could have anticipated. Last I read, there was speculation that he could return in December. I'm not sure who would have to be cut/which starter or backup wouldn't play at WR if they wanted to make room for Wallace. The Birds have lacked a deep threat this season, but that hardly seems to be their biggest problem on offense.

A coach with a statue outside the stadium tends to not be fired impulsively. Wait, huh?
