I agree. Week 3 of the preseason is usually the best indicator of how a team will perform throughout the season.

"their ones" that you're watching tonight are not even close to "their ones" that will be playing most of the season. The Birds have several starters that had offseason surgery and are either not yet ready to go, or are practicing but not playing in the preseason games. Not one of the WRs playing tonight is expected to start. The LT is not expected to start. The RBs playing tonight are not expected to start (some won't even make the team). And the QB may start, but is not expected to start after Wentz is cleared to go. That's just the O. The D doesn't have as many projected starters missing, but there are several.
Preseason NFL games mean nothing in the grand scheme.

I’d agree and the key is just staying healthy. However, Foles looked very bad imho.
QB - Wentz sitting and a rusty Foles (anyone remember week 15 last year?)
OL - Peters sitting and Semalou getting significant reps
WR - Jeffrey and Agholor out (top 2 WRs)
RB - RB4 starting and gets spelled by RB6 who promptly fumbles as usual.
But I'm sure you could really care less. 7 months later and you're still pissed off that the birds WON THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!
Nahhh its close but did you read the "urine balloons" thread? Its going to go down as a classic, although the idiot Buckeye fan really provided the slow pitches. LOL.
Browns defense was stout in the first half and put a lot pressure on Noles. If they get any offense this year, they could win a few games.
We’ve been expecting the Browns to be a lot better this year. For what this game is worth, they look better.

BTW, Eagles fans, if you haven't had a chance to see "Tommy and Me" by Ray Diddy, its at the Media Theater till 8/26, Ray Diddy is at every show for a Q&A after the play. Terrific production, especially for Eagles fans.

And the Eagles lost to the Jets in the preseason last year. How prophetic was that?
Preseason means nothing. Matt McGloin was the QB in preseason last season for the Eagles. I think Wentz maybe got 1 or 2 series during the preseason. Just sayin'
Good teams use the 4 game exhibition season to get ready when the bell rings. Bad teams live and die on every down of every exhibition game.
I like how Douggie P is doing that. He's not playing A LOT of starters, and using as much preseason time as possible to figure out roster competitions: 4th RB, 4/5/6? WR, LB, Nickel CB.
I'll also note that the Browns were 4-0 last year in the preseason. And 0-16 in the regular season.
