Committee head used ND and OSU as an example
Said OSU can't move ahead of ND but both can move ahead of others playing--remember this if it happens

Don’t you think the CFP committee is going to have to come up with something on how these Conference championship losing teams get handled in their final rankings? I think these championship finals have a short shelf life. If they end up not mattering in the final rankings they become glorified exhibition games. Obviously the money that would be lost is the big issue.

I think the conferences need to eliminate them
I don't see an argument for SMU being in if they lose to Clemson--their schedule was awful.
As Lanning said just now, "If you win then you control things". SMU wins they're in--if not, they blew their shot and now it's based on opinion.
Personally, I want Clemson to win and Bama to get in just so the CCGs die.

Anybody else hoping Saben and Herbie stab each other with their pointers?

Did I say that out loud?
I'm in the minority that don't hate them at all--Saban's comment about "I wouldn't have 23 blocking him" was funny--they have their moments
I can't stand the other two--McAfee and Howard. McAfee is just a walking hype machine that's wrong the majority of the time and I have no idea what Howard adds. They should have kept Pollack IMO

I just can’t believe these networks put 6-7 people on their set. They’re tripping over each other to get their comments in and are getting big money (probably) to say their 2cents. Should be a limit of 4 people max.

Corso needs to retire to cut it to 5 and then get rid of Howard
McAfee, Herbie and Saban would work--lacks diversity though and we know they aren't getting rid of those 3.

I saw Corso on the field for the OSU game with a blanket on. I felt bad for him. He had a great run but they need to find a way to gracefully let him go. Perhaps a short video session, that is not live, from his home.

I don't care for McAfee's antics. He's the Gus Johnson of the Gameday crew, probably installed by some cigar-smoking bureaucrat in a backdoor room pushing to liven up the broadcast. I say give us more shots of the cheerleaders.

Do we need DEI diversity? There are many others far better than Howard.

ESPN would get heat if there wasn't diversity but, yes, there are far better than Howard--but at least he doesn't really even seem interested in speaking much these days.

LaVar for one.

The entire crew just picked ducks. Mushmouth declared easy win for ducks.
81% of fans have picked Oregon
Bettors and our fan base are the only ones that think it's going to be tight
McAfee and Herbie did call out Desmond for saying "easy" repeatedly

Obviously hope they are wrong but,, it’s a safer bet going with Oregon.. we have had a great season but have not done anything to prove we can beat the elite teams.. Oregon is now elite..a win changes everything for PSU and frankly.. may even convince the non believers that we may be a favorite.. would at least put us at #1 even…?

I just can't figure the line when the overwhelming consensus is Oregon, especially with Oregon's explosiveness.

If I were a betting man I would bet the house for Oregon to easily cover.

No one would be more pleased than me to be shown wrong today.

Oregon has the better team and they are not the kind of coaches to clam up in a tough battle. That said, this is probably one of the few games where it would be wise not to be throwing low percentage bombs down the field. Need to keep Oregon off the field. I would be working our big tight ends -- two or three at a time -- on Oregon's smaller safeties.

Give him the old Beano Cook segment. From his house or a close by studio setup and let him talk about 2-3 games for 3-5 minutes and it's done. Pre-record it and edit if necessary.
