It's not obvious to ESPN/Disney as they continue to lose viewership due to clowns like Smith. How many people have they had to cut in the last few years? And he still makes millions?
ESPN has lost 7 million subscribers over the past two year. When I got rid of cable I thought I'd really, really miss ESPN. Although I miss it a bit now and then, mostly I don't miss it. You get used to it and you do something else. And you get extra satisfaction over not giving ESPN or the cable company money, not to mention you save money but not paying their outlandish bills.
Wrong, I'm one of the millions they lost, never hit their website, never tune in their radio, only watch psu or steelers games on their coverage channels. No, they are not being successful.
