More stupid espn horse-assery, but it gives us another opportunity to be OUTRAGED. .

See the link below. From the article:

"The ground rules are simple: We asked 45 of our NFL experts -- reporters, analysts, former players -- to play GM and rank five candidates who aren't currently head coaches in the NFL whom they'd try to hire for hypothetical franchises. That's 45 ballots, each with five names, ranked one through five."

And,

"1. Jim Harbaugh: 95 points

Current job: Michigan Wolverines head coach
NFL experience: Former 49ers head coach (2011-14)

In Harbaugh's one NFL stop in San Francisco, he took over a 6-10 team and went 44-19 over the next four seasons -- which included a heartbreaking three-point loss in Super Bowl XLVII. Before that, he inherited a 1-11 Stanford team and went 29-21 over four seasons. Most recently, he inherited a 5-8 Michigan team and has gone 28-11 in the three seasons since."

Franklin did not fare well in the horse-ass fest, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to coach in the nfl anyway.

Given the success he had in San Francisco, of course Harbaugh would be welcomed back into the NFL by a desperate team.

But what's surprising here is that he's a RUUUUNAWAY in first place. He gets 95 points. David Shaw gets 86 and Josh McDaniels 85. Nick Saban 59 and Jon Gruden 58. Mike Vrabel all the way down with 25. John DeFilippo, who's actually going to be interviewed by Arizona and Chicago, has 16 points. Yet Harbaugh's up there 79 points and 10 spots higher. Where is the sense in that? It just makes zero sense to me.

Not surprised Saban isn’t first, he burned a lot of bridges when he left the Dolphins mid-season.

Shaw is higher than I expected. Harbaugh (regardless of anything that happened at Michigan), McDaniels and Gruden are probably at the top of every list.

I really like Vrabel as a future HC

It's not surprising. Consider the style of offense that is used in the NFL. That's why Harbaugh and Shaw are at the top of the list.
