FC: Board member MIA for 3 months....

No he was not a troll sir. Politely disagree please.

He served a purpose; had thoughtful posts and conversations.

If you struck a nerve with him, he let you now it and did not back down.

Many, many of us are cut from the same cloth.

He could dish it out but he could not take it.

He is rotting in his version of hell-having to be surrounded by a group of black people all wearing Philadelphia sports teams jerseys. And having to subservient to them.

Let him rot there. It’s what he deserves.

There’s a lot of people on this board who dish and dish and dish, with absolutely zero self awareness, and then pick up their toys and cry and go home when challenged or held to account. “Ban this guy or I walk”, etc. People need to get out more.

The fact that I can’t read half this thread tells me I have (most of) the right posters on ignore.

And Sgt Carter was a piece of shit poster. Not even a question.

Incorrect. He was a person with different viewpoints from yours.

And, I respect yours.

Oh, and you talked to God and he confirmed that he is 'rotting'? Is that correct?

TJ seemed to tail off with his McAndrew Board political posts - he was mostly a recruiting cheerleader outside of whatever he did on the TB. I only had MtNittany on ignore because we almost always had differing points of view and it was easier to avoid getting into an argument with someone that way. Same with a few others.
TJ and MtNittany are both way too far right wing for me, especially MtNittany. My politics are somewhere between the 40 yd lines. There are exceptions, especially the last 2-3 years. I thought MtNittany was way off the reservation. I’m sure they’re both fine.

I'm fine. This will be my last post here. My business was attacked via false (ridiculously false) reviews. We spent a lot of money to determine their origin and to get them removed. For a year old company doing great work, it was something we didn't deserve and didn't plan for. Our leads dropped, and our competitors seized their opportunities for sure.

All good now though. Back on track and still seeing the ocean when I glance up from my computer in the AM. Have done some killer putting greens at LaGorce on Miami Beach and at Weston Hills the past few weeks. Going into Ballen Isles next week.

The fake reviews of our business probably cost us around $100K in sales (one job for sure @$65K) and they originated not from a local competitor, but from a regular poster here who lives in another state, and likes to play politics and race-baiting games.

I'm done playing games with you people. Frankly, only a very few of you are worth it. I'll leave you w/ one last GC song:

Even though it admittedly doesn't mean much, I'm still sorry to hear that. Hopefully you will at some point pick a new name (if you haven't already) and join back in anonymously again in any threads that interest you.

Who made up that rule? I don’t like it and it’s not rude. Just because a person died doesn’t mean you can’t refer to him/her as a POS, since that’s what they were.
I don't give the smallest portion of a shit what you like- it's a an asshole thing to do.

No it isn’t. It’s not as if you going around pissing on graves all day. I don’t give a POS person respect just because they died. Dying is easy. Everybody does it. A lifetime of making others’ lives miserable, doing them hard, takes some work; you need to want it.

You die and everything’s fine. “I hated him when he was alive but now that he’s dead I wouldn’t dare say what I really think. That’s the rule so I follow it.” SMH.

The “appropriate thing” is another custom that rankles me. It’s all so phony. Just ask Holden Caulfield.

Along the same lines, T J (with 98,000+ posts) not seen since October

For some reason, years ago, I thought he was the reincarnation of an old time poster that went by the username of something like TJ Worm. I think TJ Worm was from the Erie area, and his son was a 6'8" lineman that selected Pitt over Penn State. Worm wasn't too happy about it and jokingly asked everyone for the best advise on how to somehow support Pitt for his son's sake.

It seemed like that was right around the time the Board was relaunched by Alliance, and a poster named TJ showed up and TJ Worm disappeared. I could be totally wrong about the two posters being the same person, but I guess I just subliminally assumed they were the same guy.

For the record, I liked TJ and never thought he was anything close to being a bad poster. If he put you down, it was with a harmless cartoon or a polite reply. I know many of you hated his political views, especially on climate change, but after shoveling snow for close to 48 hours straight the last couple of days, I think he was a genius!!! : ^ )

Hope everything is well with him and would love seeing him post again.

It was DJ Worm and the player was (I think) Dale Williams but not the same guy as TJ.
DJ Worm was a good poster I thought he was Dale's uncle?

Actually I think he was his father, and you are right, he was a good guy. Do you know if Worm still posts here under another name? I know there is no more TJ Worm as a poster name.

No I don't think so. I don't even think he continued to post here much longer after his son was at pitt.

Dale Williams - Cathedral Prep around 98-2000. Those cathedral prep bucks west games were some of the best high school football games I ever saw...

It's rude to speak ill of the departed- maybe just let it go?

LOL, I always come back to the Bette Davis quote when she found out Joan Crawford had died.
"My mother always told me to not speak ill of the dead. So Joan Crawford is dead, good."
Now THATS cold. :D

Jay is sporting his Hampton's look. That outfit and color combo would fit right in at a summer soiree on the south shore.

I was thinking Andy Bernard
