See the link below. From the article:

"ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan added 16 players to its roster on the first day of the early signing period Wednesday, but head coach Jim Harbaugh said he's not sure yet if the team's most high-profile addition will be eligible to play in 2018.

Harbaugh said he hasn't yet heard if Ole Miss transfer Shea Patterson will be cleared to play immediately by the NCAA. Patterson was the top-ranked quarterback in his recruiting class in 2015 and started seven games for the Rebels in 2017 before injuring his leg. He officially joined the Michigan program earlier this week. He is seeking a waiver from the NCAA to play right away due to the sanctions levied against Ole Miss for recruiting violations this year. Harbaugh said that if Patterson is cleared to play, he will be able to compete against Michigan's other current quarterbacks for the job."

I have to believe delany will lend a hand, or something else.[/QUOTE

He will probably lend both hands, his massive jar of KY jelly and his to lips .... whatever it takes to get one of his 2 favorite son programs out of the toilet.

Just don’t get any on me

A favorite line of mine from SCTV but I can never find a clip. Someone asks if they can extrapolate or something and the other character says the above

If the NCAA is just going to give a waiver to all OLe Miss players, why not just declare them all eligible to play right away like they did with the seniors?

Talking to myself but it’s the following:

Someone says “mind if I interject” and a Eugene Levy character, Earl Camembert says: “Just don’t get it on me!” If you’re an SCTV fan, you might remember this. Anyway, apropos for the Delany/Michigan “special relationship”

Chances of him not being cleared to play = .00000000001%.

This is the Harbaugh Hype Train in top gear.
+1
I wonder whether this garbage is Harbaugh driven or Harbaugh-crazed journalist driven. Fortunately or unfortunately, the guy draws attention. So if there’s nothing else to write about, seems asking Harbaugh a stupid question with an obvious answer may actually beat doing some reasearch and coming up with an original thought.

I mean, UM just flipped a DE from Germany and this person is writing about a possibility that all know exists until the NCAA makes its inevitable decision on yet another UM “special case.” SMH

Not so sure... two things could be happening ...

1) NCAA tired of Harbaugh “ pushing” the envelope

2) Saying “ yes” to Patterson opens up Pandora’s box both past and present

NCAA will lose all hold on transfer rules and regulations...

If they say yes to Patterson, they have to say yest to everyone. If they say yes to everyone, why even have the rule?

this will be the 3rd QB that Harbaugh has gotten in the "free agent" market since he has been at UM. his exceptions have really helped his record

Patterson is a game changer and is a big pickup for UM. As an Ole Miss fan (second behind dear Ole State) I have watched him play many times and he is the real thing. A gunslinger with excellent mobility and a big arm. I do not look forward to him being on the other side of the line of scrimmage. IMHO, Patterson is the most important acquisition Harbaugh made this year.
