I'm hearing that introducing him by name is an NCAA violation. Anyone know for sure?

Of course it is. Can't believe that Franklin would be so blatant about doing this.
"13.6.7.9 Activities During Official Visit. An institution may not arrange miscellaneous, personalized recruiting aids (e.g., personalized jerseys, personalized audio/video scoreboard presentations) and may not permit a prospective student-athlete to engage in any game-day simulations (e.g., running onto the field with the team during pregame introductions) during an official visit. Personalized recruiting aids include any decorative items and special additions to any location the prospective student-athlete will visit (e.g., hotel room, locker room, coach’s office, conference room, arena) regardless of whether the items include the prospective student-athlete’s name or picture. Pretty obvious violation. UnrealI'd prefer a response from someone who doesn't have wolverine in their name.

Yes it is. Think about of all the radio shows in which Paterno could not say a recruits name until signing day. It is a violation and that is why the name was not said. RidiculousI'm hearing that introducing him by name is an NCAA violation. Anyone know for sure?
Was it a case where fans chanted his name and he stepped out to acknowledge the crowd? Or was he actually announced over the PA system?I'm hearing that introducing him by name is an NCAA violation. Anyone know for sure?

.... Or sleep over at a recruits house? LolIt is and sounds like your coach is a bit desperate with all the crap going on with his staff to allow a secondary violation. Of course he can just adopt the Ahia State approach and just report them and apologize.

Per our recruiting guy:Believe he was announced by name, though not sure about that... but his name and picture was certainly posted on the video scoreboard, so it wasn't just the fans chanting his name. The school introduced him publicly.
How can Franklin possibly be this sloppy?

Tonight's recruiting gaffeYou two just aren't credible to me. Go away. I hear Harbaugh's looking for more sleepover partners.
i think he's seeing the writing on the wall and is getting desperate. He's cracking.Believe he was announced by name, though not sure about that... but his name and picture was certainly posted on the video scoreboard, so it wasn't just the fans chanting his name. Harbaugh and Meyer are 2 guys you'd like too punch, but they're good coaches.How can Harbaugh possibly be so creepy?
Per our recruiting guy:
he signed some sort of financial aid agreement with PSU previously. Its similar to what the other early enrollees signed.
Thats why PSU can do that. Im pretty sure they wont be able to do that with the other recruits next weekend.
He was supposed to be an early enrollee initiallyFind it pretty hard to believe that he's signed a financial aid agreement at this point even though he's still months away from finishing high school. Thanks for the insight, though.

It appears obvious because you do not have all the facts. When you do, what will be obvious is that you were wrong.Pretty obvious violation. Unreal
The game is an ESPN broadcast, so it is not like it can be hidden. WTF is Franklin thinking.
Of course ESPN is going to run with it. This could get bad. U know how they sensationalize things.Are you stupid?
@wolverineluke please respond
I just heard that as a counter, Harbaugh is going to French kiss Quinn while his mother videotapes it. Gotta give it to that guy, he won't be outdone.
