But I don't understand why people are missing what is going on at QB in college football. Almost 60% of starting QB's last year (23) were transfers on opening day. The top teams of 2023 included Nix, Penix, and Ewers. All of these were transfers. This year's final four included Howard (xfer from Kansas), Leonard (xfer from Duke), and Ewers (xfer from tOSU), and Allar.

If you take the final 8, you include ASU's Levitt from Sparty, and Oregon's Gabriel (xfer from OK). So of the final 8 teams, FIVE were transfer QBs. (ASU, ND, tOSU, Oregon, TX)
