SEC fans stay cool and calm, so Apparently some fans from Philly attended this game.
The first game of the Pitt and PSU series. I was making my way to my seat, being friendly and one of the Pitt fans said "I should push you down the stands" I hope that makes sense anyhow it could have been the Paterno hat I was wearing.I’ve been lucky enough to travel to quite a few road destinations over the years. The only places I’ve had issues were Ohio state and Pitt. Pitt was quite a bit worse though.
Google LSU band playing “Neck”Oh no, being yelled at by drunk college students….I’m sure that never happens in the wonderful SEC.
Entering gate D around 6:45 there was nothing but continuous Pedo State and child rape commentary and chanting from the Auburn fans
How have you lived so long. The first game of the Pitt and PSU series. I was making my way to my seat, being friendly and one of the Pitt fans said "I should push you down the stands" I hope that makes sense anyhow it could have been the Paterno hat I was wearing.
I ran into some more at Sheetz on the way home... They were still greatI talked with many Auburn fans (very few after that game). I was working at the game. They were all friendly and polite. I even talked to the parent of a player (true freshman who didn't play). Again all were friendly and seemed to really enjoy the experience
Well done Elwood.I talked to a few groups who said the same. Gave an Auburn player's parents a ride to their hotel at 1:30 a.m. when they couldn't get an Uber. Said they had a great time
Totally agree…because Pittsburgh fans are so well behaved. Especially the women!
You’re a buffoon.
LOL....wut? Pittsburgh kid here who not only got into PSU, but graduated with highest distinction and graduated with no student debt.It would have to be because none of the Pittsburgh area kids could actually get into college. Or afford it.
You Inbred dipshit.
Then again, I heard a news channel describe Pennsylvania (during election night) as consisting of "Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Alabama".Yah, probably a lot of stupid Pittsburgh kids too. But Philly is a major metropolis and Pittsburgh is basically a large town now.
Auburn fans were terrific - and interacted with a lot of them.. I saw zero issues either way all day.If you had interaction with Auburn fans during pre/post game, what were their impressions of tailgating, atmosphere inside the Beav, and treatment by PSU fans overall?
Pennsytucky - where people go outside to use the “shitter”Then again, I heard a news channel describe Pennsylvania (during election night) as consisting of "Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Alabama".

On a related note, Pittsburgh and Philly aren’t even remotely similar.if the point is that the rural parts are different than the urban parts, that is true in every state in America. But there are other urban parts.
It's quite surprising to see that sort of behavior from what otherwise look to be a very sophisticated group.
The guy laughing with the blunt is on point on how you react in an unorganized brawl.SEC fans stay cool and calm, so Apparently some fans from Philly attended this game.
Take a poll of which city’s fans are most likely to fight with visiting fans. I bet you Philly wins.SEC fans stay cool and calm, so Apparently some fans from Philly attended this game.
This x 100! Same experience. I never even thought twice about Philly before PSU.LOL....wut? Pittsburgh kid here who not only got into PSU, but graduated with highest distinction and graduated with no student debt.
For the record, I never hated Philly before I got to PSU. Growing up in Pittsburgh, Philly was an afterthought. Then I got to PSU and found that inexplicably the Philly kids hated the Pittsburgh kids. I still don't understand why. Pro sports team jealousy, I guess?
It's a shame because Philly is a cool city, with some cool people. Too bad there are aholes who ruin its reputation.
The only place I've been that was worse than O$U and Pitt was Iowa.I’ve been lucky enough to travel to quite a few road destinations over the years. The only places I’ve had issues were Ohio state and Pitt. Pitt was quite a bit worse though.
Welcomed many Auburn fans to Penn State. As usual, all were polite and positive about their Happy Valley experience. If you had interaction with Auburn fans during pre/post game, what were their impressions of tailgating, atmosphere inside the Beav, and treatment by PSU fans overall?
you could have had a comeback wiith well you marry your 12 yr olds so they cant call it ped!!Entering gate D around 6:45 there was nothing but continuous Pedo State and child rape commentary and chanting from the Auburn fans
first game wow how old are you??The first game of the Pitt and PSU series. I was making my way to my seat, being friendly and one of the Pitt fans said "I should push you down the stands" I hope that makes sense anyhow it could have been the Paterno hat I was wearing.
My wife and I had a mostly good experience at Iowa in 2017. YMMV.The only place I've been that was worse than O$U and Pitt was Iowa.
Sounds like Nardo was on the bus!Was at the 48-14 game. Rode the game charter bus from South Hills with a bunch of Pitt fans. It's pretty bad when an 80 year old fan is cussing us out for riding a public bus that he felt should have only included Pitt fans. They were and still are pretty obnoxious.
IDK, I grew up in the part of the state he (Carville) referred to as "Alabama in between" and pretty much agree. 🤷♂️That is something James Carville came up with. It never made any sense and somehow manages to insult two unrelated states at the same time. And he made a living in politics... somehow

They could, but they wouldn't be acting the way 18 yr old drunk students have been acting since college football existed. I have the same wish, that young adults (and sometimes older adults) would act respectfully to others, especially others they've never met before. But I've come to the realization that those drunk young adults view my wish as unrealistic.Or, maybe, people could be civil and respectful, and welcome people with very little history with our team, to our home.
