What's funny is even Michigan players approached Franklin post game. He seemed more approachable than their own coach. He may have his faults but he's organized, motivated, sincere and charismatic. Not bad qualities for a head coach!

Listen, if Franklin does not begin to have winning seasons against “the three” tOSU, Michigan, and MSU he can go.

He was hired to do more than compete. The tens of millions spent on this program cause that a coach be judged by B1G championships and playoff appearances. One B1G and zero BCS appearances in six years is not good enough. Losing records against “the three” does not cut it.

Maybe a B1G championship and BCS once every four years Is good enuf? That’s open to debate. Certainly losing records against the three 5 out of six years is unacceptable. Who can question that?

Should he be back? I think losing today and against tOSU, and a dismal record against the three in his first six years, certainly allows the question to be raised going into next year. He gets put on the stove for sure if there is no improvement in the next year.
