Looking forward to a new season and wishing and hoping for the best for all B1G teams. Here's to a great season!
Thanks Wingman, the same for the Hawkeyes except when we play and especially when we RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR wrastlin'Looking forward to a new season and wishing and hoping for the best for all B1G teams. Here's to a great season!
Thanks Wingman. This is the time that ALL BIG teams are equal. Once the games begin, the better teams separate. Here's wishing both Penn State and Iowa positively separate from the pack!Looking forward to a new season and wishing and hoping for the best for all B1G teams. Here's to a great season!
Thank you for your cordiality. I wish you the best, individually. As for your team, I hope they, along with every BigTen team other than us, loses every out of conference game, without exception. I'm sorry, but the conference, and their fans, provided virtually no support during the Sandusky crisis. Beyond that, many actually did all they could to add to our woes. Iowa fans who visited here were among the worst. You appear to be an exception, and if more like you showed up here, my opinion might change. I have no problem with good natured banter, but what was said here by some of your Iowa brethren was vile and I will not soon forget it.Looking forward to a new season and wishing and hoping for the best for all B1G teams. Love you Gambit, but our very own Board of Trustees created a "false narrative" regarding the Sandusky situation that, in my humble opinion, allowed other fans to pull out the pitchforks and torches. They were fed an incredible lie and merely reacted to it. The truth was so slow in coming out that we cannot even fault opposing fans for making boneheaded statements in 2012 or 2013. NOW, in 2014 the landscape changed and the truth started to come out. Correct me if I am wrong but this is the first year where we can retort with "why did they give the wins back?". Let's gauge reaction to the new landscape before we blame all other conference brethren for their reaction(s) to the false narrative created by our corrupt Board of Trustees.Thank you for your cordiality. Ziggy, I absolutely agree with you, and I have no problem with Iowa fans, or anyone else, who parroted the BOT line. What I do have a problem with were the Iowa fans, and Rutgers fans, in particular, who went way over the top in their vile and disgusting remarks. I have a very long memory and while I am willing to forgive those who will admit they exceeded the bounds of decency and good taste, I have yet to see anyone from Iowa or Rutgers do so.Love you Gambit, but our very own Board of Trustees created a "false narrative" regarding the Sandusky situation that, in my humble opinion, allowed other fans to pull out the pitchforks and torches. I, too, am leery of Iowa fans posting on our board. I remember one person coming here just after the Sandusky story broke, talking about how they still considered Penn State to be a great program and were supporting us all the way.
Something seemed fishy, so I went to the Iowa board to check this guy out. He had started a thread over there bragging about how he was setting up PSU fans for his big "reveal". His plan was to wait until a bunch of posters had thanked him for his kind words, then he would post some nonsense about gotcha, you all suck, Ped U, etc.
I came back here and linked that thread, asking everyone to avoid falling into his trap. I went back to the Iowa board and saw someone over there had told him that he'd been found out. That doofus still came back here to deliver his coup de grace, despite the fact that NOBODY had fallen for it.
I guess in his mind he was still a hero, and that's all that matters.
She was one of Minny. The only school in the B!G I will support is Minny. My wife went there. End of story.

Gambit - that is why is referred to 2012 and 2013. The Rutgers contingent didn't even belong in our conference then. Their actions last year were totally reprehensible even though the wins had not been restored (which led to a major shift in the narrative). I won't give the Rutgers fans any more bandwidth on this subject, they are not worth it.Ziggy, I absolutely agree with you, and I have no problem with Iowa fans, or anyone else, who parroted the BOT line. Ok, I don't think we're that far apart in our positions. I am willing to see what our brethren in the Conference will do going forward, although I hate the Conference for so many other reasons, I can only go so far.Gambit - that is why is referred to 2012 and 2013. Good luck to Iowa too!I didn't mean for this thread to go way off base like this. For that I apologize and will point back to my original post. Good luck this season.
