Well, this season has caused me to lose even more interest in Penn State Football.
I am with you!!! Hope to hell we get to watch the freshman in the in the "who the hell cares bowl" and I never have to watch him again. He is terrible!!!
Well the coaching staff didn’t miss a makeable FG and PAT in a 3 point loss or fumble twice in the last 10 minutes of the game. But let the geniuses on here keep blaming Franklin and the coaching staff for that.
It is truly to tell who argues more irrationally - the Franklin supporters, or the Franklin haters.
Insanity—- why the hell would we try to run the ball most of second half with the worst O line in PSU history and worst running backs in PSU history while we have Dotson going against the worst pass defense in college football this year?? Why would we not blitz on the key 4th down?? Pry, Yurcich/Franklin, offense, defense and special teams all lost this game— no pride. Time for some players to leave and bring in Allar and Singleton and have freshmen and sophomores on Oline. Clean the house!!!
Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser. Sorry bud, but 8-10 in B1G play gets you fired at every single blue blood program with the exception of 1. Penn State. WPS!
The thing is, I'm not even blaming Franklin. I don't know who to blame. All I know is we keep finding ways to give up big plays and lose big games in the 4th quarter.

We are, right now, about the third or maybe second best program in the Big 10.
Really, pretty simple.
Franklin is what he is. A great recruiter and a suck a$$ coach. There really isn’t a better coach on the horizon right now to hire. My problem is why do you tie ourselves to this for 10 years. Absolutely mind boggling.

If you want to see a loser look in the freaking mirror. There has been two consistent themes this season: players failing to make key plays in crunch to IME and knuckleheads blaming those failures on the coaches. How many critical FGs has Stout missed this year? A game losing 47 yard TD to a TE on a crossing pattern thrown 5 yards beyond the LOS against Michigan. A TD on 4th and 15. 2 fumbles in the last 10 minutes. Stout leaving 4 points on the board today in a 3 point loss. Coaches coach and players have to execute and make plays. Was not surprised at all that Pry’s defense stunk out the joint today.
This whole offense needs a complete reboot. The blocking sucks, the QB play is dated, and the running game is non existent. I don’t care if you get another OC, but soon I’m gonna stop watching this pitiful scheme of football. It makes me sick to my stomach when I reflect on this whiff of a season.
My wife said a similar thing to me today, “Are you going to be able to watch 10 more years of this?”
Franklin's contribution is signaling with his finger for the 1 point conversion! I too dont see the value of his contract, nor his near extortion mid season as the team folds to obtain the larger longer contract. Disgusting really.
Franklin seems to be too much of a players coach and not someone who's going to get in their ass and hold them accountable. Our guys are snuggled up on the sideline in coats and sitting on the bench- meanwhile sparty is firing each other up = worried about getting a w and shutting down our pass o.
Where does that fire come from? Ideally it comes from within - but when it doesnt its up to the coach to help them out.

Yeah, trying the tough guy act worked so well in that Iowa game.
Very very few truly satisfying seasons since ‘96.
I not saying the tough guy but maybe better is support. I my life time I never thought I would see PSU football players acting like cold women
