Way too many transition buckets by Oregon to finish it out. Terrible defense in the closing minutes. Boo….. another typical PSU game.
Another loss. At least it wasn't by 40. We wasted time before fouling at the end. Poor execution. Oh well not looking good. They will eventually win some but it could be a day late and a dollar short at that point. I think best case is we are 3-7 through 10 conference games so making it to 10-10 seems like a stretch.
They’re probably the worst team in the Big 10 right now. I would say that there better be massive improvement in the Big 10 record next season or this coach needs to be on the hot seat; this season now is a lost cause. It looks to me like this program isn’t any better than under the previous two coaches and probably is worse.
They somehow constructed a roster containing zero players who can shoot from outside. It's almost hilarious if it wasn't so sad
This program never is going anywhere unless you entice a coach like a Calipari to take the job, but a coach like him probably never would come to a place where the attendance is bad, there’s no tradition and you go to the tournament once a decade; it’s just Groundhog’s Day every season.
Just look at Michigan; they were terrible last season but hired the FAU coach who took that team to the Final Four, and now they’re one of the best Big 10 teams. This program almost always is at a massive talent disadvantage against almost every Big 10 school, and I don’t see the current coach changing that, and don’t care about how well he supposedly is recruiting because this team still isn’t good enough to finish over .500 in the Big 10.

They also obviously can’t play defense. They had a 9 point lead with over 6 minutes to go against a West Coast team on an extended road trip to the East, and of course they proceed to throw that away. You can’t be both a poor shooting team and a poor defensive team, but they’re both.
Both of the basketball teams at this school are bad, which should be unacceptable.

I agree without big improvement then we miss the Dance and finish under .500. Then next season becomes a perform or else for Rhoades. That is getting way ahead of ourselves. Let's see if he can turn this ship around this season still. I still have hope but admittedly that hope is fading.

When are they going to start routinely winning games like this, especially at home, other than the usual lone one like Purdue this season? This team is on its way to an absolutely horrible Big 10 season with or without Baldwin.
