I couldn't disagree more. This might be true if you want to run a basic offense that lacks creativity (see the wishbone days), but today's best teams have great passers. I have yet to see a great dual threat quarterback who could pass at PSU. Wasn't Robinson. Wasn't Clark. Wasn't McSorley. None of them are NFL success stories. They were scrappy and could scramble, but none were great passers. McSorley had some great receivers. I remember the "heave it and hope" plays where our receivers would just out muscle the DBs in a jump ball.

When you don't have an OL you need athleticism. I don't see our OL changing anytime soon. Aller will be killed.
