I created a new thread because this isn’t specifically about Rep. Jordan though he is mentioned in the story. It’s about the atmosphere at tOSU in the men’s locker room where wrestlers caught men having sex in the stairwells, where men lingered and gawked while student-athletes showered, and where an administration was told about it by former coach Russ Hellickson but took no actions.

I smell BS. This doesn't make any sense. This was 35 years ago. A time when homosexuality was much less accepted than it is now. I find it hard to believe that ultra-masculine college wrestlers just tolerated random dudes having gay sex in their locker room.

So now multiple wrestlers and a former wrestling coach are all lying? To what end? At some point you (generic you) have to ask yourself how likely is it that multiple former wrestlers and now a former coach are making this stuff up.

....in their locker room.

I'm puzzled too by some of this. Do note, however, that it wasn't "their" locker room. Larkins Hall was a "open" gym--students, staff, profs, and athletes all used and were allowed to use the facilities. Most gyms were in those days.

That doesn't excuse the odd things going on there, of course. But their really were few varsity only facilities in those days--maybe football, but even some of those facilities were "open" at times. When I played IM ice hockey, for example, we dressed in the team locker room in the basement of the ice rink. Different times.

It was more accessible than the rest stops on I-70....
