Before you guys burn me at the stake, yeah I'll say it out front: I'm a Pitt fan and alum. Lol. Unlike most Pitt fans though, I have nothing against PSU and some friends and I were curious about getting to see maybe a game or two over at Beaver stadium this upcoming season (you guys do have an awesome gameday experience). What would you guys suggest is the best way to get single gameday tickets or how should I approach it? Thanks for any input. Also, a bonus would be where the best place to stay in State College is.

Pardon my ignorance. Cheers!

Getting a hotel will be tough depending on the opponent. I hope your not trying for the O$U game you might have to stay in the burg lol anyway expect to pay the premium. I hope you have a great time #WeAre

I think some posters here have gotten rooms through Airbnb.com. Might want to give that a shot.

Hotels are likely sold out by now but you can check for cancellations. State College is small enough that any in town aren’t really that far from the action.

As for tickets, if you know any NLC friends they can put in for some for you. If not, I think general admission ticket sales start in a few months (? May/ June?).

LOL thanks man, yeah i wasn't even gonna attempt to get tickets for the whiteout game, i know how insane that one is. not too fond of that signature pic you got but alas, marcus allen was a beast for you guys.

Assuming you are in western Pennsylvania, you might want to stay in Altoona Saturday night if you can't get a room in State College since that would be the same direction.

I have witnessed Alabama at LSU at night, Clemson at Florida State, and have been to the Swamp and the Shoe, but nothing in college football compares to a WhiteOut at Penn State, particularly if it's against Ohio State or Michigan.

Buy season tickets. You know, like Pitt expects PSU fans to do in order to get tickets by implementing absurd tactics like only making single game PSU tickets available by bundling them with tickets to other games.
