Hopefully Pickett can't go either so they have a chance to winseems like the pressure on the Eagles' run game (i.e.,Saquon) ramps up. If you have to load your whole team on the back of one guy, he is the one I would pick. Eags are being prettty silent about whether JH plays....
Running the ball and an elite Defense used to be good enough, not as sure these days.seems like the pressure on the Eagles' run game (i.e.,Saquon) ramps up. I thought the Lions, with all of their injuries, played right into the Commander's hands. They played this uber-aggressive defense against a QB who could evade the rush and deliver the ball. He had a great game against the Lions' man2man blitz package. He also played the game of his young life. The Eagles are going to have to play more zone with a spy. It would also help not to have five turnovers.seems like the pressure on the Eagles' run game (i.e.,Saquon) ramps up. The backup is Pitt's Kenny Pickett. His playing would be entertaining no matter if he did great or bad.Running the ball and an elite Defense used to be good enough, not as sure these days.
One thing that DOES seem to have changed is the LONG RUNS guys like Saquon are getting. That used to be pretty throttled down on Sundays. Now the NFL is getting more like College. I do not have any stats to back that up, but it seems true.Running the ball and an elite Defense used to be good enough, not as sure these days.
Agree. The Commanders are on a roll and if Hurts can't go the Eagles are cooked. If Hurts can play I am sure his mobility will be limited and the Commanders will bring max pressure. If Hurts really is injured, you gotta take Commanders at +6. Weather looks good for Sunday and Daniels has been on fire. If I had my choice of any QB for the next 10 years, it would be Daniels.
I’m cautiously optimistic. He played more than a quarter with it and never missed an offensive play. He will be limited of course, but it’s not his plant leg.Agree. Unless the Eagles defense can get a pick six and turn the Commandets over in their own territory for a short field, sadly this might be season over for the Eagles.
I hope you are correct but the Commanders playing so well right now really concerns me with Hurts injured and even Pickett's status questionable.I’m cautiously optimistic. The Commanders lost their best interior lineman for the season. While not as important as a QB, expect Daniels to get a ton of pressure right up the middle without that key piece. Carter will be more of a game wrecker than usual.
We lost by 3 in DC with Pickett playing more than 3 quarters.
I am bullish on the Birds and Snowquan
