I listen to the coaches show, FRL, and Jason Bryants show, does anyone have any other good wrestling podcasts they'd recommend? Thanks!

Withholding judgments of quality (not because they're bad but different folks have different tastes), T-Row and Funky Show and BSD Matcast come to mind

Maybe BWI should make one...

Bonus Points, Short Time, and FRL are my go-to's. T-Row and Bloodround if I have time. No shortage of podcast coverage.

Bumping this... I don’t really like Flo anymore and Bloodtime is sporadic. I love Baschmania and listen to them as soon as they drop. Any other recommendations?

Get Rokfin ($10 per month) by subscribing thru the NLWC and then access “Matscouts”. @smalls103 and a dude named Corby have a great show.
I still listen to FRL. I also listen to Inside Trip and Bloodround. I’ll listen to PaPower as well sometimes, but I’m not really into the HS scene unless it’s recruiting stuff.

edit - I guess you may access Baschmania through Rokfin. In that case, you already are a subscriber, so check out Matscouts.

Thanks! I have Rokfin and never thought of looking for podcasts there! I have just been watching the NLWC events.

An interview with Gavin Teasdale just popped up on the Tru Wrestling podcast on Rokfin. He pretty much tells the entire story of what happened. Its kinda shocking actually. The kid was a world class wrestler while being addicted to hard drugs. Failed drug tests at PSU. Ended up in the hospital after a 3 day coke binge at Iowa and the did a tox screen. His car accident was due to drugs but said he has been sober since. He is working out and working on himself before he decides if he will wrestle again.

That’s the way I go. More transportable when commuting (don’t have to download).
I always search for podcasts through the Apple podcast app and never thought to look at Rokfin. I have been working from home the past year due to COVID but start going back a few days a week next week. I love podcasts for the drive as well as exercise.

Happy for him. Hope he and his family can pull him through it.

Hmmm.... I like that idea. I would consider creating one but doubt I have the smarts or funds to get one off the ground. I do know what my signature ending segment would be though. I’d call out one bonehead post or thread from HR and have the person who posted it on the phone or video chat for a conversation. Could be f**. Lmao

Btw, that post was brought to you by Manscapes...originators of below the belt grooming...

It wouldn't be where you create a new HR login?

In Justin and Cenzo’s podcast after NCAA’s they said to give a manscape as a gift to a friend. Pretty weird gift imho.

Also, Justin said that there is nothing like being at NCAA’s, but second best is watching from Miami. Not much beats having a drink on the beach between rounds!

The Inside Trip is good. Over the pandemic they pretty much stopped doing it but have done a couple episodes recently including a NCAA bracket podcast before the tournament.

Fair warning, the two guys are homer Ohio State fans and are both from Ohio. Ben (I think) constantly states "F PSU" but admits it's only because we are so good and he is jealous of the program. They are both characters, especially Ben and even though they are tOSU fanboys they respect all programs and all wrestlers.

Inside trip isnt for minors or easily offended folks.

No, but it's fantastic - guys are the straighest of shooters, even when talking about their own lives. Great stuff.

Willie and Corby's podcast on Rokfin has been my goto recently, they work really well together.

Jason, Was that you announcing on the PA last weekend in the Enterprise Center? If yes, you did an amazing job. I choose to watch everything on ESPN3 (sans commentary), and it was great hearing the updates coming in over the PA.
Yessir, been doing the PA at NAIA, D3 and D1 since 2016. Had the Worlds/Olympics since 2015.
