Sort of a gift pin from Parriott, but Young pounced on the opportunity. At least there was some action, as I was starting to nod off.
This thread was started about college wrestling attendance. I presented 12 straight years of facts on NCAA wrestling attendance. You should go back and check thatBe honest, those "checks" only serve to help you.
Facts and your feelings are on opposite paths.
Back points? How about we start them off slow and work on a TD?
Hard to fathom that there was optimism from some on the HR that this team was a NC contender with a minor slip up from PSU. They have chasms to bridge.

Hard to fathom? C'mon this is HR we're talking about, where delusion and bitterness run unchecked.Back points? How about we start them off slow and work on a TD?

Maybe Lee shot Lugo in the knee.No Lee, no Kemmerer and pretty sure no Lugo.
is that mike evan's dad (lower right)?
Wow ... that rebuttal is beyond lame. Probably best you run along.Seriously....... you're like the guy that has his wife open a jar of pickles for him.
That would double the number of Iowa shots taken today.Maybe Lee shot Lugo in the knee.
I thought the worst ice storm in recorded history was the one Gable made them practice in, after Lorenzo beat them.If your a die hard or season ticket holder at Iowa and you risk life and limb to drive in what surely is the worst ice storm in recorded history, the least TnT could do is have half the lineup be starters.
Maybe the inner circle sent out a memo to stay home and save lives.
Lighthearted banter is what gets us through the day! Win or lose I don't run. I square up and face yaWow ... that rebuttal is beyond lame. Probably best you run along.
Looks like you were added to the Hawkeye staff this year.Lighthearted banter is what gets us through the day! Win or lose I don't run. I square up and face ya
How’s it going Turk? Shouldn’t you be over on HR trying to chase “me” away?Seriously....... you're like the guy that has his wife open a jar of pickles for him.
You lied when you said it wasn't you. Sad. But I didn't expect anything different. We knew better. Johnstownsteel handle #8 on HR!How’s it going Turk? Shouldn’t you be over on HR trying to chase “me” away?
When I have an exciting match on the old lady will bring me a sandwich and some pickles and ask questions about this move or that, Today, every time I doze off she changes the channel. I woke up and watched the Yule log for 10 minutes.checked the score and let her put the log back on.Seriously....... you're like the guy that has his wife open a jar of pickles for him.

I was going to laugh at the Lugo and Warner references.Lol, Stoll a mega point scorer?!?
Holy SHIT... mega point scorers. You can't make this shit up.

Reminds me of Nathan Thurm sometimes he’s so defensiveCareful now, it's a good thing that CP has such thick skin.
Now that there sounds like a J Robinson, Minnesota Goofer, national duals, NCAA championship formula. If points were awarded for knee braces and miles of athletic tape, iowa would always start the meet well ahead.
Iowa averaged 8,996 fans per dual, more than 1,000 in front of second-place Penn State (7,693) and third-place Ohio State (6,681). For the year, 71,966 fans attended Iowa's eight home meets. Rutgers and Fresno State round out the top five.
Iowa State finished sixth, with an average attendance of 3,361. Northern Iowa finished 15th, at 1,724.
The Hawkeyes’ average this season is their fourth-highest average since 2001-02. Iowa has led the nation in attendance in each of Tom Brands' 12 seasons as head coach, and have averaged at least 8,000 fans for the 10th straight season.
Logic, and its consistent application, is not a strength of our Iowa friends.CHA seating capacity 15,500

Shouldn't Iowa lead in attendace?
Side note: Isn't the argument from Iowa against Pennsylvania being the best wrestling state because of a bigger population?
Actually that was 9 falls, 1 Rachal, 4 MDs, and 2 DQ wins.He actually bonused quite a bit last year. 10 falls, 4 MDs and 2 Wins by DQ due to stalling. Not a bad bonus rate for a HWT.
So far the best action has been an Iowa guy pushing a Pudue guy out for a stall warning.
That's the "Iowa style".
Yes we are bigger lmfaoCHA seating capacity 15,500

Why strange? Paraphrasing former Hawkeye and current Buckeye coach Tom Ryan, for a quarter century that's how they handled it.Good-natured ribbing aside, I've always found it peculiar that the emblem of Iowa wrestling's greatness is their legendary Coach Gable bronzified while motioning for the ref to call stalling. Not Gable in some encouraging or celebratory pose willing his wrestlers to greatness or acknowledging some great feat. But instead, Iowa chose to immortalize Gable intently focused on penalizing an opponent and looking for a win on a stalling call. Seems strange to me.
